High-Level Project Summary
Have you ever had the dream of studying a scientific career, but failed in the attempt. Would you like to try again? That's possible thanks to SPACEMATCH, a community where you can find people who like you want to leave their trace on the world. Spacematch breaks the information gap in careers and allows you to access multidisciplinary project development opportunities, communicating those links in an innovative and interesting way to future professionals.Through a platform you can identify a career that you are passionate about, as well as opportunities and tools to study and work with people outside your country. Being part of Spacematch will inspire you and help you grow. Are you ready?

Detailed Project Description
What exactly does it do? How does it work?
A space that allows you to have an approach to STEAM careers that align with your interests, abilities and professional projections through the Spacematch Test and Spacematch Community.
Spacematch test, through friendly questions, helps you identify careers that may be of interest to you.
Once the career of your interest has been identified, Spacematch provides you with information and resources to learn about the career. In this part you will find the things you could achieve with the career, references who studied it, work fields, study centers, among other curiosities explained in a simple and fun way. Through games, stories, Tik Toks, YouTube videos and podcasts (carefully selected to learn about the race in a fun way).
By learning about the race you will have a new perspective on it. We know that this path can be complex, that is why Spacematch provides you with a series of mentors (volunteers), who through streams will share with you a little about how they made the decision to choose their career and how the path has gone up to now.
On the other hand, you will connect with a community of people from anywhere in the world with the same interest in science who can inspire you to become a scientist, engineer, communicator, etc., and why not, a professional with a hybrid career ?
By connecting with this community, you can join a group of discords where you can share information, ideas, develop large-scale projects and, above all, network internationally.

What do you hope to achieve?
Spacematch users are expected to study a career that they are passionate about. find a reference of fun and reliable information. Joined to a community made up of people from other countries with common interests.
The choice of a career brings with it a great impact on a person's life. Making a decision that is wrong or different from the one you had in mind can change your destiny and future life. A curious aspect of this is that this situation can even leave an imprint on their personality and future behavior. (Shahid & Akhlaq , 2017).
Oladele(cited in Nyarko-Sampson 2013) specifies the need to make a decision that satisfies you. This will lead you to be more balanced and stable in relating to your environment.
While it is complicated for everyone to make a final decision, it brings about the success and economic prosperity of a country (Shahid & Akhlaq , 2017).
It is extremely important to provide tools and facilities to the new generations of professionals. Ipaye (cited in Alemu, 2013), explains the importance of establishing connections with other people who can help you in this selection, these conversations can arise from peers who are experiencing similar situations, knowledgeable professionals in the area of interest and even professors who can help you make a decision.
It is essential to have accurate first-hand information about the race. This can be complemented with the information transmitted by the media, which can transmit social problems, fashions, culture, among others. These media are part of the daily life of young people in this era. It was found for example that one method to make career guidance accessible is through social networks. (Alim, 2019)
What tools, coding languages hardware or software have you used to develop your project?
Considering the limited time span, we were able to design a basic prototype using Adobe XD, and graphic elements from flaticon.com and Iconscout. For the final project we will use Flutter SDK, Dart language, and Android Studio as tools. A future version of the project considers applying Artificial Intelligence to make much more precise, personalized and intelligent suggestions for the user. Also, we could apply gamification techniques to make more fun and engaging learning activities on the platform.

Hackathon Journey
.When we were told about the scientific divisions of NASA SMD (Earth Sciences, Astrophysics, Heliophysics, Planetary Sciences, and Biological and Physical Sciences), we identified with a very relevant moment in our lives, the choice of a career. We identified with a very relevant moment in our lives, the choice of a career.
When we left school, we had many questions in mind and little information about the existing careers, we did not imagine that they could complement each other at some point.
There were many prejudices surrounding each profession, especially the scientific ones. One of these myths was the difficulty of finding a job after graduation. Accompanied by these myths was our acquired fear in some subject that made it impossible for us to make a decision that would give us confidence.
That is why we agreed on the need to create a space that facilitates the choice of a future career that you are passionate about. Through "trustworthy" information and a multidisciplinary community that strengthens you on this path.
Our inspiration was to help teenagers to fight for their dreams and that they no longer feel alone at this stage because they will belong to a large community of scientists who like them fight for a better world, the approach was qualitative because it covers the research process in all its stages: from the definition of the topic and the approach of the research problem, to the development of the platform, we were able to solve the setbacks with a lot of planning and coordination.
