Mobile App (Aether App)

• A warning tracking system for the possible progress of the disaster, assisted by artificial intelligence, using values ​​such as atmospheric air pressure, heat waves, and moisture in line with the data obtained from NASA's Worldview and Giovanni tools.

As an example;

• Wildfires: Atmospheric air pressure provides the necessary oxygen for combustion, reduces moisture by increasing evaporation and physically pushes the fire. As a result of all this, the biggest factor in the spread of wildfires is atmospheric air pressure.

• Processing all the data the AI will provide images and informations to user interface.

Mapping

Before Disasters:

• Making 3D modeling by using drone and satellite technologies together and creating possible disaster scenarios and risk maps according to regions. 
• Mapping of disasters by regions that are likely to recur on an annual scale using data.

After Disasters:

• Organizing search and rescue activities by providing 3D modeling of destroyed or damaged areas during disasters by using drone and satellite technologies.
• In the aftermath of the 2015 Nepal earthquake, drones assisted in creating 3D maps and models through image processing software. These aided in assessing the widespread damage, operating search and evacuation missions, reconstructing buildings and preserving areas of the city.

• This is the first time we have experienced such a project. Besides the competition, the workshops were useful and informative. We have improved our project development, accurate resource scanning and teamworking skills. During this process, we received support from mentors at the points where we got stuck. Insufficient precautions against natural disasters that have been experienced frequently in Turkey and around the world recently encouraged us to choose this category. We would like to thank all the mentors, managers and everyone else who contributed to the project.
