High-Level Project Summary
AI has also helped power the future of drones. AI could help drones accelerate across multiple industries, as AI has the ability to function in situations and conditions where humans cannot. It can also analyze real-time data to adjust flight telemetry based upon terrain and other obstacles, in a similar manner to Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast (ADS-B). ADS-B provides situational awareness and self-separation between aircraft and has been available in commercial aircrafts for years.

Detailed Project Description
On top of technology, regulations in the industry have helped address safety and security concerns. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) recently enacted guidelines requiring a digital license plate that can remotely identify Unmanned Aircraft, an important step for the integration of small unmanned aircraft into the National Airspace System.
