High-Level Project Summary
- Goal 11 in The United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development (SDG) is to make cities and human settlements inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable. Our wish is to work towards this goal.- In our project we mainly focus on natural disasters and their effect on poor areas.Climate change effects the behavior of natural disasters e.g. hurricanes moving may slow down ("stalled" storms) but at the same time storms may intensify exceptionally fast- In these areas it might be hard to warn unprivileged people (for example disabled and elderly people) about hurricanes, floods, wildfires etc. before it’s too late.
