Eco Drone

High-Level Project Summary

We accept the challenge 'Drones And Satellite For Urban Development. Using the provided resources to our challenge, we're proposing an idea of Envirometer and Eco Drone. Envirometer is a device which displays the information as an indicator of Population Density, Carbon Emission, Vegetation and Air Quality Index. The Eco Drone collects the data for carbon emission and and population density. The Envirometer is accessed with Satellite to take the data of vegetation. The Envirometer is fully accessed with the Eco Drone and satellite so the collected data by the eco drone and satellite is analyzed and demonstrated by the Envirometer to spreading the awareness with information in our society.

Detailed Project Description

We tried to design a simple device based on the idea of sucking air within a cylindrical tube that was tested on an AQI filter. It discusses the air's composition, the AQI rating, and all this machine are solar-powered called (Envirometer).

AQI sensor that measures the composition of the air. It is also the main component of an Envirometer. The data from the AQI filter is sent to the AI unit for computation. This unit is completely programmed and, using a smart connection, is immediately attached to the antenna and display screen.

antenna is the component that receives data from the Echo Drone and satellite in order to calculate data. The indicators are mounted on the machine's top serve as solar panels as well as light indicators for data computation results. It would be the ideal habitat for data to live if it arrived in a range of 0-50 on a digital display.

Data in terms of AQI, Population Density, Carbon Emissions, and Vegetation are shown in digital monitors gathered by Envirometer, Echo Drone, and satellite. All of these systems are linked by AI units that manage data flow and send records to the server. When gathering data, GPS aids in determining the precision of position. Eco Drones are another flying device that we have designed for better collection of data for air and calculate it and get accurate results. By this idea we will be able to aware people about unurbanized development and unplanned development, with unequal distribution of means and resources.

Space Agency Data

We used the data of carbon emission,vegetation and night life from NASA Worldview and used the data from NASA Earth Science Data and NASA Air Quality Data. We've found a really fascinating and useful data from NASA Worldview that truely inpired us to work on this challenge.By using the data and resource we have seen the population density,night life,vegetation and carbon emission in different time period in nepal so we have found the there is no sustainable development and there no equal distribution of means and resources.

Hackathon Journey

We would describe my hackathon journey like a boat on a river which flows in the direction of data and resources and challenges and their solutions.

The main thing that I learned from this hackathon is how to deal with problem in team. And utilize the data that are collected by various methods and I also learned about various factors of our surroundings that I was unknown about.

When we started analyzing our data given by NASA we came to know various factors like unequal development, higher population density, more carbon emissions etc in particular areas, and. Due to this there was no planned development or urbanization and unequal distribution of means and resources.

Which inspired me and my team to focus on this challenge and tackle it, for planned urbanization and development.

My approach for developing this project was first taking views of team members and proposes an idea for tackling this challenge.

We used Various data provided by NASA to tackle our challenge and we also discussed in group for better management of project band good results.

We would like to thank our brothers Alan Baral and Oshan Sharma who helped us understanding things in better way.
