Development of FGM coating using HVOF on cast iron and steel substrate for cylinder liners of internal combustion engines to characterize the developed coatings using techniques like Optical microscopy and Hardness test. We had selected these three materials for coating i.e. firstly WC+Co , secondly, the coating material is WC+Co+Cr, and the third coating material is Ni+Al.After that, we'll do the coating process using simulation modeling, and then representing the design using 2D, 3D tools to develop the virtual model. After that, we perform finite element analysis, review results, and make engineering judgments based on results.
After all the processes, we have done the final modeling and simulation, along with temperature distribution and heat-flux distribution.
improve the overall performance of the process, reduce the cost and improve the
reliability.
the environmental effect (deformation, temperature, etc.). Moreover, few researchers
discussed only the simple cases, like the transverse shear or the transverse normal
deformation. The real situation, however, is usually a complex case. -e more general and
complex cases should be concerned as well.
automobile, and other industries, FGM has a vital role in the medical field as well.
Keeping awake glance of this noble application for the betterment of human beings, more
in-depth investigation needs to be done on FGM with respect to Advances in Materials.
Science and Engineering to health care such as bone implantation, dentistry, etc.
Yes it inspired a lot . And give so much of knowledge
It was a very nice experience with my team member .
I will like to thank space app challenge maker so that we can use our knowledge in the project
A very memorable experience

The design of novel alloys via predictive computational modeling is progressing by leaps and bounds, but the numerous open-source tools available for materials science modeling are often difficult to use and interpret. Your challenge is to develop a graphical user interface (GUI) that allows easy and seamless use of these tools.
