Detailed Project Description
Our project is a designated module for crop production. This module is highly versatile, for instance, It makes the best use of space and weight as it gradually evolves over time. The module is at first filled with prepared food, but also with seeds that later can be planted to fill the space left by consumed meal. The chambers will therefore be switch to production mode and start automatically managing the growing process of the crops.
In addition to its versatility, this module is also able to land and used as production facility on Mars or the Moon and even on earth.
If in space the module will used chambers at 360° meaning on every surface of the module, once landed the module will change is disposition to be more suitable for a planet gravity. Then apart from the ceiling which cannot be used for production, the side and ground can still be used for prodution. The side chambers of the module will switch from their original position to an horizontal position so that they can maintain production.

This source with photos from recent missions helped us understand what is space food's state of the art. With it we could have a better vision of what space crews need, and which tools we currently have to provide them the best solution for the time being.

Hackathon Journey
Our Space Apps experience was a very short, but very intense one that I think both of us will remember for a long time. We are both French students who got freshly installed in Ruse. This week, we were very lucky to meet Mrs. Mladenova, who very nicely invited us to sign in to the event, which we gladly did.
We are both very interested in space, but getting further into this challenge got us to get to grips with the state of the art, as well as making the most of the time we have been given. In three days, we delivered a project we are very proud of, especially taking into consideration that we had a very busy school schedule this week. We hope that the jury will notice how efficient we can be when given so much more time!
