High-Level Project Summary
In one of the greatest speeches given by Martin Luther King “I have a dream” he recounts a deep desire for something that motivates him and makes him believe in better days. A dream that was not his alone, but when he was spoken, he managed to reach and motivate so many other people in the search for a real and better future for everyone. With NASA's Hackathon, we were able to embark on a common goal that also motivates us, to have the opportunity to take people to another planet safely.

Detailed Project Description
Our proposal consists of a self-sustaining automated greenhouse that contains irrigation systems, water reuse, temperature regulation, humidity meter, lighting control, ph sensors and verification of nutrients present in the water, as well as an interface that can be accessed remotely from anywhere on the ship, we are aiming for the success of fresh crops that are easy to produce. Our proposal has an interface that will be a software that will show the crew the greenhouse data in real time, such as pH, temperature, humidity and chemical composition of the nutrient solution. Space Agency Data
Data from NASA, ESA, AEB and JAXA helped us to better understand the development of plants in a microgravity environment, in which the scientific researches taken to the ISS were extremely important to us, such as: VEGGIE, APH (Advanced Plant Habitat ), the research on seed germination in microgravity carried out by astronaut Marcos Pontes aboard Expedition 13 and the research carried out by other space agencies.
