High-Level Project Summary
Our project basically consists of a viable food system for long-term exploration missions which aims to be able to grow various crops to feed a crew of 4 to 6 people. This system has sensors that would help it to be autonomous and warn the crew in the event of a mishap. The system consists of a capsule which has 3 sensors, which are: humidity sensor, temperature sensor, and CO2 level sensor, with the data from these sensors it is possible to know what the capsule is missing and recondition itself autonomously, also sends the data to the ship's crew and the team on earth. This also helps astronauts psychologically to be able to eat some fresh food as they would on earth.

Detailed Project Description
WHAT IS OR PROYECT ABOUT?
This project tries to find the solution to the sustainable feeding of a space crew. For this we think and develop automated hydroponic modules, which cultivate the plants during the trip and guarantee the correct growth and care of them.
This system called "Seeds on Road" It has an artificial intelligence called "Maike" that will indicate the parameters of the plants both on the ship and on the ground and indicate the status of the crop or any failure.
What Benefits/Objetives does it have?
- Manage to grow plants automatically
- Provide the crew with the fruit thereof.
- Helps psychologically the astronauts by eating fresh food
- Labor savings for the crew.
- They are individual modules and adaptable to different ships.
- Programmable for different types of crops.
- Remote connection with the earth in case of failure or failure of the same.
What do you hope to achieve?
We hope that this project gives a functional option to NASA's proposal to be able to harvest in space to feed a crew.
But we not only hope that this is their only function. If not, they can also be used on land, such as in polluted areas or arid areas where it is difficult to found these fresh foods.
If we look to the not so distant future, another proposal would be to make modules like this on a large scale but on neighboring planets, where you can have a permanent harvest and feed the Astronauts while they are working on site.
This not only helps in feeding the astronaut, it also has a psychological influence.
What tools, coding languages, hardware, or software did you use to develop your project?

Hackathon Journey
Our team is made up of 6 students from Morón. We all apply our experiences and skills to carry out this project.
The experience we had with Space Apps was very good as we were treated very well and we learned about various topics throughout the competition.
The team had a great performance, there were some issues related to editing, but the team was able to move on. The achievements they had was the good performance of the team, in the distribution of tasks. Another achievement is learning to program and edit in applications such as AutoCAD, Arduino, which are tools with which we were not familiar and yet we were able to achieve the goal and the idea that we had.
We would like to express our appreciation to all the teammates who cooperated to bring this about after spending hours researching. And gratitude to the organizing team of the event and to all the space agencies that provide the opportunity and the tools to make this possible.
