High-Level Project Summary
The project name is "Nautilus: Gravity for plants". It satisfy the food needs of astronauts on the way back from long space travels.Nautilus will be equipped with a rotating module, its strong point, to create artificial gravity. Inside the peripheral module there will be the greenhouses for the cultivation of plants and vegetables, in addition to the rooms used for the training of astronauts. The ship is used for the transport of 6-8 crews and will not have to use fuel as its thrust will be obtained through the gravitational slingshot.

Detailed Project Description
Our solution was to adopt a rotating module capable of generating an artificial force of gravity so that everything can remain anchored to the ceiling, the rotating effect will be kept constant by a sensor which will increase or decrease the rotation speed in such a way
Inside the greenhouses we will find the soil, the plant that we want to grow and the "OSRAM" lamps which, through a radiation with light of different wavelengths, it is possible to control and accelerate the growth cycle of the plants, thus obtaining greater productivity and being able to collect the results more often. The special lighting solutions not only optimize the harvest and growing time, but are also able to increase the amount of vitamins and nutrients in the plant and even intensify tastes and flavors.
Thanks to VYPR lights we are able to recreate favorable conditions for plants all year round. With six spectra, from broad white to deep red, these lights offer growers choice of spectrum, helping to maximize greenhouse and indoor crop growth while balancing energy efficiency and the human working environment.
