Vibration monitoring system for landslides

High-Level Project Summary

In Brazil, due to the climate and human actions, landslides are a phenomenon that brings psychological and social consequences. With this in mind, we developed a natural disaster monitoring system using the Piezoelectric sensor to measure variations in ground vibration, for recording and sending communication signals using Long Range for NASA satellites and signal return for local communication for preparation and evacuation of area. Our project is aimed at safety and protection of the individual before a natural disaster happens, different from existing projects that take actions after the occurrence. The system VIbro brings solutionsthe physical, psychological, social and economic.
