A Platform for Children's Space Literature (Nebulosa FAO).

High-Level Project Summary

Today’s children are tomorrow's youth, that’s why nations through history were very keen to take care of them, because of this responsibility we launched this project “Nebulosa Fao” to eradicate children’s illiteracy as it’s an international necessity as well as ensuring their education. As there are a lot of children who are deprived of NASA’s space sciences because they are in poor countries or they are not well educated, so we took it upon ourselves in our team to support these kids BY gather creative writers FOR THIS GOAL, WITH editING NASA data in the form of easy literary stories that children benefit from and enhance the concepts of.

Detailed Project Description

It's beginning: This project was initially just an idea that we have been circulating for years, and its implementation required courage and determination, so this opportunity was the occasion to target children and educate them in the field of space in a literary and easy way far from complexity. The transfer of scientific concepts to space in general or scientifically may be difficult for the child, so we decided here to move forward with the project, the tools used in the design of the project platform is the design of a website that includes the book and subject them to technical and professional conditions, and then they present their non-profit content to children from different countries of the world, and the use of Language Php, HTML, CSS coding, and the use of graphics to depict the initial image of the idea of the birth of the site. This project, if incubated and implemented, can compete with the wiki site, but in the field of space science and educating primary school students in the field of stars for different countries and since it is free It may be adopted by non-profit educational organizations to deliver to different countries, such as those that suffer from a lack of scientific resources.

Space Agency Data

NASA data through its browser and the stories that I mentioned in the aspect devoted to science, the solar system, and planets, inspired us to write stories and look at this information and data from a literary side, and the articles written for children in the students’ section helped us convert them into stories. The most important data that inspired us: Introducing planets and the system Solar, space missions, articles about working with NASA, NASA discoveries on Mars,

Hackathon Journey

During the hackathon trip, we learned that big projects only need focus and careful work. Our team loves challenges. Every individual has a unique experience in the field of work. Therefore, it was nice to meet at the service of the child through literary fiction writing and transferring NASA's knowledge to it. Our approach to developing this project is according to the progress of A written plan and we are working on it, and our team overcame difficulties by dividing missions and cooperation, and our experience is an important point in the future of working with NASA. We aspire to be part of the NASA family and contribute to raising awareness for this mission. Thanks to the wonderful NASA, the Saudi Space Authority, my wonderful team, and everyone. Thank you.
