Detailed Project Description
5G Education is an initiative held to support high school students across the country by providing them with different educational opportunities that fit them. High quality of education is always contributed to high tuition fees. Many students don't get their chance to seek better education because of this. Many students might be academically excellent but cannot enter international or private schools because their parents cannot afford their high tuition fees. 5G Education works on giving online lectures, offline sessions in co-working spaces, and school night sessions on campus. The lectures introduce all about admission in different countries like the US, the UK, and many others. Students are not having a fair high school experience but they can do it in their college life by studying abroad. Connecting these students aka community to advisors, consultants, and alumni to talk about their experience. We are hoping to get sponsored by The Ministry of Youth to get to even more students to share such opportunities not only about the admission but also about summer programs, exchange programs, competitions, and many others.
Space Agency Data
We had to make dozens of research about colleges' eligibilities, requirements, tips and tricks, admission cycles, and much other stuff. We also connected with different alumni to listen to their experience and thoughts and share it through our project with our students aka community. We had many difficulties getting sponsored by colleges and still working on it.
Hackathon Journey
The NASA Space Apps experience was fabulous. It was a one-of-a-kind experience that all of my team will never forget. The day was extremely different than any other. We learned to contribute to get to work on a serious presentation of our project. After two years of working, it's finally wrapping by an application a video of a presenter. We felt nostalgic. We have been all inspired by the same goal and that is finding better educational opportunities but all of them had one thing in common; high tuition fees which our parents couldn't afford. We have got to know each other through the internet and have been discussing the problem as a kind of venting. It ended up with us solving the problem itself and representing all high school students who face the same problem. We have been working tirelessly on increasing our circle to make it a better community for everybody. We have faced many obstacles, some were technical and others were about increasing our range. Also, problems like targeting students who are already interested in studying abroad.
