High-Level Project Summary
Our solution will potentially increase the consumer experience. The trolley will have a scanner and a touchscreen display, which is used to scan the products and display the product information, the cost, and the total amount. Once the customer is done purchasing the items, the final bill will be displayed on the screen. The customer can then proceed to pay the bill through any one of the online payment options such as Paytm, UPI, PhonePay, etc. This will drastically reduce the shopping time of the customer and make the overall experience much smoother.

Detailed Project Description
1) The authentication key is inserted in the authenticator module by the user.
2) This turns on the system attached to the trolley.
3) The dedicated scanner machine is used to scan the product and send data to the central system via the microcontroller. The array of LEDs turn on to make sure that the products are scanned properly. The GUI display will show the name and price of the scanned product.
4) Further the Ultrasonic sensor acts as a counter to count the number of products dropped in the trolley. If this number does not match the number of products scanned then the warning indicator will turn on with the display showing the warning to either scan the last product or drop the last scanned product accordingly.
5) The camera sends real-time video of the trolley to make sure shoplifting is regulated.
6) At the end of the shopping spree, the pressure sensor calculates the weight and matches it with the total weight according to the bill content. This value will have a buffer of 2-3%.
7)The bill is finally printed at the checkout and payment can be done through the supermarket card or QRcode on the display or POS machine.
