We developed separation system that can replace explosive bolts in small space vehicles to reduce stress during launch, that increase the number of successful launches and even reduce the cost of the device itself several times

The gray part is socket and the blue part is jack. When device is locked, spacer (black part) bursting petals (red parts) and they shimming jack. When device is open, spacer goes down, petals folds, and jack can be removed.
We used SolidWorks to model our device

Hackathon Journey
Thanks to the challenge, we all improved our skills, such as teamwork, working with different programs, but the most important thing is information search. We improved our solidworks skills and got acquainted with the construction of satellites. But where did we get motivation? It's very simple - each of our team members is interested in solving such a world-class problem. We did not have any big difficulties, because we tried to do everything very quickly and efficiently. And finally, I would like to thank my entire team for a great time
