High-Level Project Summary
Our team has developed a special system which helps to separate vehicle in two differnt parts without risk of being damaged or destoryed. Moreover, this mechanism will not be damaged during lift off of the rocket into space. Also, this mechanism has solved the main drawbacks of traditional separations systems - it does not create any debris and shock impulse.

Detailed Project Description
The device consists of sevaral parts. Two shafts which are glued together with a special Isolator made of modified alloy rose. When it comes to separate a spacecraft, turning on of the special heater you change metal conditions of the Isolator. This process separetes the shafts which had been tightly connected and after heating the springs push them off. Everething is quite simple! The mechanism is simple in manufacture and in expensive. We hope to find new opportunities and support to develop this mechanism further. We also need other scientists's opinions and ideas. While designing the project we used SolidWorks and Fusion 360 as CAD programs. We have used ANSYS to calculate and simulate the mechanism operation.

Hackathon Journey
It was really cool experience! This event was full of brainstorming and hard decisions. Whereas at the same time we enjoyed our time working in a team, finding solutions in a short period of time. Hackathon gave a lot of new useful experience, which will definitely be useful in the future. However, it was a big challenge to work in online mode. It would be great, if we had an opportunity to work in offline conditions. Our professor of Kharkiv Aerospace University Andrey Loyan inspired us to take part in this challenge. We would like to thank our University professors who gave us knowledge, taught us new techniques and approaches and gave us the opportunity to carry out the experiments. Special thanks to Nasa's Space Apps for giving an opportunity to challenge ourselves in solving hard technicial problem.
