The project use electronic devices to detach from parachute. System is compose from a controller, one bmp180, one step up, one baterry 3.6 v and one electromagnetic bolt. Project is waiting in sleep mode to have a power reduce consuption (6 uA). When the capsule start descending, detach from main body, the barometric sensor will start deliver information regarding altitude. When 10000 fet is reached, arduino mini pro controller will enable step up source (from 3.6 v to 12V), and the electromagnetic bolt will be powered up. The parachute will be released. (demo project was designed using one single number of electronic components).Next PoC will use redundand system of electronic devices.
A safer way of detaching without harming the environment - small electronic project designed to detach the load when altitude reach rights value. The system is waiting in sleep mode until capsule is starting to descend. When altitude value reach 10000feats, arduino mini pro will trigger enable of step up soucr from 3.6 v to 12 v and will power on the electromagnetic bolt. The parachute will be detached.
The benefit of electronic detach system is redundancy and no more gun powder used in space, that can harm team member or space capsule.
Using this system of detach we aim to achive diffrent kind of detaching, without explosions and shock from gun powder or explosion.
We have use Arduino platform to write a small code for arduino mini pro.
We are using controller arduino mini pro, lithium baterry 3.6v, step up convertor from 2v to 12v, bmp180 barometric senzor and electromagnetic bolt 12v (150 KgF).

A great challenge that should be resolved in 24 h. I have learn to create and present a solution on fast forward speed. We have choose this challenge because was most a hardware solution, where we can use our experience with iot sensors. I have study the power or electromagnetic bolt and the force that is requred to keep toghether the parachute.We try to resolv this challenge finding a simple solution, using electronic devices.
