High-Level Project Summary
A device capable of separating in two, in space, thanks to one in which a rectangular piece holds them together and when it is moved, it escapes from the slot and therefore allows the two pieces to separate. The movement of the rectangular piece will be rotational caused by an external force (weight of a sphere) that will deform a spring and this will transmit movement to a pulley and the pulley transmitting movement to conical gears.

Detailed Project Description
A device capable of separating in two, in space, thanks to one in which a rectangular piece holds them together and when it is moved, it escapes from the slot and therefore the two pieces separate. The movement of the rectangular piece will be rotational caused by an external force (weight of a sphere) that will deform a spring and this will transmit movement to a pulley and the pulley transmitting movement to conical gears.
The device is made of aluminum with tin alloy, has a rectangular geometry of 5.4cm in height and 1.3 * 1.7cm in base. It has a groove through which a yellow piece holds the two pieces, and when it moves, it will escape from the groove and will stop holding the two pieces. The operation begins with the motor when it rotates, winding a nylon rope, untying a knot, allowing a sphere by its own weight to fall down due to the effect of gravity, then the sphere will pull the spring deforming it, so the spring when it is deformed will move a pulley, the pulley is connected to an axis and this axis transmits rotational movement to a bevel gear and the gear also transmits movement to another bevel gear, which will move the yellow rectangular piece through a vertical axis.
The main function is to separate two pieces by means of an external force.
