High-Level Project Summary
Metal Tick es un sistema de bloqueo de lanzamiento electromecánico que permite liberar una horquilla y separar las etapas de un cohete. Por medio de una corredera con resorte se bloquea un cilindro de material de aleación con memoria de forma (SMA) y a la vez un perno que mantiene unidas las dos partes de la nave. Cuando el cilindro recibe una señal de activación, libera un lado del perno separando las partes. Por lo general, estos mecanismos utilizan elementos pirotécnicos, son de un solo uso y voluminosos. El objetivo de Metal Tick es innovar los actuales mecanismos, utilizando una configuración sencilla, con poca masa, baja potencia, que sea reutilizable y no genere basura espacial.

Detailed Project Description
The solution, Metal TICK is an electro-mechanical system that allows a fork to be released to separate the stages of a rocket space, without the need for an explosive release of force.

Then we notice that the system could be diferent, and the brainstorm began.
Hackathon Journey
This hackaton was wonderful, my team has become like a family, just for solve a problem with the rockets space.
We learned to work together, new knowledge about space travel and its separation in stages, This inspire us to choose the challengue "Let it Go"
We build on previously created devices, but make our innovations on them.
