High-Level Project Summary

It is a graphene rap blanket, customized each time for the specific payload where at the bottom connection with the main craft has a graphene zipper, that zipper unraps in a circular motive with the help of a very fast unzipping device. The whole device provides extreme versatility on all different payloads and is fully adaptive. The unzipping can be really fast. We have no explosive method. All can be done mechanically with simple device. Or instead of whole cover blanket, we use again cable connections from graphene material with zippers same method of fast unzipping. More versatile and Non explosive method. Great durability due to multiple connections points.

Let It Go (Without A Bang)

Letting things go in space, or separating spacecraft parts, is often a violent, high-shock event. Your challenge is to design a mechanical separation device that can cut a parachute reefing line, a bolt for an adapter ring, or a cable, or release two parts from each other smoothly in space without pyrotechnics.
