High-Level Project Summary
We solved the micro plastic problem. We’ll put 3 filters in the river that goes into the ocean. Filters will stand on iron poles, so fish can pass. 1 filter-net with big squares; 2-net with smaller squares; 3-iron sponge, like dishwashing, but less space, it’ll stop micro plastic. After a while, the iron sponge will heat up and micro plastic will evaporate. It’s bad for world temperature? Okay, we can make a filtration of gases / vapors. As for the large trash, we will have two meshes for each layer and the robots will change them as they get dirty.

Detailed Project Description
We solved the micro plastic problem.
We’ll put 3 filters in the river that goes into the ocean. Filters will stand on iron poles, so fish can pass.
1 filter-net with big squares; 2-net with smaller squares; 3-iron sponge, like dishwashing, but less space, it’ll stop micro plastic.
After a while, the iron sponge will heat up and micro plastic will evaporate. It’s bad for world temperature? Okay, we can make a filtration of gases / vapors.
As for the large trash, we will have two meshes for each layer and the robots will change them as they get dirty.
We consider that our project will work while scientists come up with how to completely get rid of the micro plastic problem, and ministers of education will solve the problem of education in countries such as China and India.
Also, on the basis of plastic waste caught in the network and using a camera and computer vision methods to calculate where the garbage came from.

When we have seen map of dirty rivers, we was shocked and started to work harder.

Hackathon Journey
Our idea came to us, when we started to talk about ecology. One teammate said about micro plastic to us, and in our heads immediately came ideas. We started looking for places, where most of all plastic is thrown into the river. And it was in India and China.
After that, we brainstormed how we would solve this problem. At first, we had really stupid ideas. But, when we found an idea that everyone likes, we started to develop it.
When we already had a project, we started to prepare the video. We did the aquarium by ourselves, then we did “trash” and a motor that depicted the movement of water. But, when we started recording the video, the aquarium broke down and all the water spilled. We didn’t have enough time to remake this aquarium, so we took a container.
After all, we liked this project. We had fun and had a good experience. It was hard, but we did that.
