High-Level Project Summary
We designed a submarine mechanically and electrically which detect and catch plastic debris then upload this data and it’s counting on firebase(database) which is simply available via our mobile app We used AI algorithm using python and "opencv" library detect plastic debris and plastic bags( which was a challenge we used capacitance to detect plastic bags using for this purpose aluminium sheets on the arm plates

Detailed Project Description
At first start to think about solution we used our experience with submarines so we made 4 “T100” submarine design that have a net that can expand and contract using water bump motor and an extended part of the frame, in the cylinder we have Arduino uno connected with a 12to 9v converter and 3 cameras (one to the arm, one is looking forward and one is looking to the net) every T100 motor is connected to an ESC (motor driver). we connected cameras to laptop that analysed using a python code to deduct plastic debris but we had a problem with plastic bags so we used capacitance to detect plastic bags using for this purpose aluminium sheets on the arm plates and using specific value at the Arduino. At the end we download all this data to a database and then our mobile app take data from database so everyone can have an access to it.
Space Agency Data
We used Nasa resources in understanding how serious is the problem, how they detect it and how they tried to solve it.
Hackathon Journey
First we chose the challenge , then we divide the tasks on the team member , start working , then we collected the task , understand everything , then we made the presentation , then we practice in the presentation.
