High-Level Project Summary
Our project is directed to create a new application in order to get a solution for the real time collaboration problem between the science community and flight controllers from various space agencies. Applying the programming and database established knowledge, we are looking to produce an intuitive and speedy working environment for potential users, with the purpose to optimize its operation in real exploration situations and to make it possible to store a great amount of data samples. We seek that our application can be characterized by: new user verification, metadata application, easier Information search by optimized filtering system, add future data to a log and tracking system.

Detailed Project Description
Appstr-o
--Introduction--
Our project is dedicated to develop new ways of communication between astronauts and scientists whose are on earth, all of this on live, but what does this mean? Is nothing new, the idea of a network who works instantly is our daily basis almost for everyone. We interact with someone who might be next to ours or in another country, and the only thing we need to do is having mobile with wi-fi. So why not take this idea into special exploration?
--What exactly does it do?--
Appstr-o is an app aimed at scientists and astronauts , which creates a more intuitive, efficient and optimal environment to sharing and comparing information collected.
--How does it work?--
From a PWA it’s possible the usability of the app, because it used web technologies that resemble native mobile software. It integrates Firebase as database for the real time communication because of Firebase Realtime Database, with the warning is not taken into account the delay that exists between The Moon and Earth, we established the timezone of the central basement in the mobile of the astronauts with the purpose that the scientist can analyze when the information was taken at the terrestrial time. Finally, used React.js belong Bootstrap make possible the user interfaces for both roles.
--Possibilities: ¿What benefits does it have?--
Now imagine our explorers with a tool such as their phones, doing such simple things such as collect, upload and waiting for a feedback, this last step is important, because as you can infer now you will not have to wait until astronautas arrives to earth. We are opening new possibilities.
--¿What do we expect to achieve?--
This application has as main goal attack directly to the communication deficiencies presented in past exploration missions by making possible the log edition for the science community on Earth, even once the mission has been finished. This is crucial as it opens the possibility of real-time analysis, being able to discard, attach or compare data, leading to more valuable information, for future explorations, or current research at that time.
Our vision is thinking on efficiency so is vital to think is posibles problems in future, one of them is how astronauts are going to write with such big gloves, they barely can be move, so in order to make it work, they will do it with speech to text program.
Space Agency Data
Mars Exploration Section Missions Documents from the Viking missions played a crucial role at the time to establish how we were going to show the data in the application, there we noticed that sometimes it is dificult for science community to found the information they need, due to the large number of filters that it exists in the way NASA presents the public data from previous space explorations.
Hackathon Journey
SpaceApps is a great opportunity for anyone interested in issues of space exploration or related to these, thanks to this type of activities, people with great skills and abilities can make themselves known and also manage to solve a current problem.
SpaceApps this year presented a wide variety of challenges to solve, in our case the one that caught our attention the most was "Lunar surface: Collaboration", since it is a direct step that we must take for a bright future in space exploration. It is a big problem not to have a real-time interaction between astronauts and scientists because of how impossible it becomes to compare data and optimize the mission, in addition the interface in how it is presented to us the data from space missions can cause problems, since it is not fast, efficient and optimal.
Our team solved this problem by creating a PWA, which manages and creates its own database, which users themselves generate with their profiles, two roles were created, one of scientist and another of exploring, the interaction between them, is a collector who is responsible for uploading the samples and the classifier who is responsible for classifying and giving feedback in real time.
Thanks to the participation in this event, it was possible for us, as a team, to realize the importance of collaborative work, even when it comes to space exploration, since it would surely not be possible without collaboration between nations. We really wish we had provided a close solution to the problem presented, surely we will see each other in the next ediacion.
