Detailed Project Description
· Purpose of the project
The project consists of a web application, capable of displaying and locating debris in Earth orbit; using parameters tracked by software such as Space-Track, the coordinates of these objects found in libraries such as SatelliteJs, and even databases where public and private data on spatial domain are reserved, organized and analyzed in order to solve scientific inquiries relevant to SDA (Space Domain Awareness). This way, it would be possible to set up a demonstration of all objects, large or small, orbiting the planet.
· Problem
There are currently numerous artificial satellites active in Earth orbit, as can be seen in the Canadian satellite database “Near-Earth Object Surveillance Satellite (NEOSSat)”:
https://donnees-data.asc-csa.gc.ca/en/dataset/9ae3e718-8b6d-40b7-8aa4-858f00e84b30
but the problem at hand is that besides them, there is also a lot of debris left by rocket launches, inactive artificial satellites, spacecraft parts, etc., and this can become a problem when we think about space pollution.
By orbiting around the earth at high speed, if a newly launched probe, satellite or rocket collide with any of these materials, the impact would cause considerable damage, which would compromise the entire structure of these devices or even, if any, the health of the crew.
· Value offer
As a solution, it would be possible to send probes on a mission to collect these residues, however the cost would be very high and without a return guarantee, since the monitoring of these objects is not completely accurate. So what you can do at the moment is detect this space debris so you can at least plan future launches so that they are not compromised.

we could also detect these residues and, initially, plan the launch so that they do not interfere with the path of future devices. Completing the goal of turning it into a space debris visualization tool,
Always aiming at security and spatial sustainability.
Space Agency Data
We used the NASA orbital debris database as inspiration and information center, https://orbitaldebris.jsc.nasa.gov/quarterly-news/
Hackathon Journey
Our first Hackathon was definitely full of challenges and teamwork, and although we couldn't finish the real project, just the ideia of changing the world brings joy to the whole team, can't wait to participate in the next one.
