High altitude balloon

High-Level Project Summary

We did or own design of the Hight Attuited Balloon that include ( APRS Transistor , Parachute , GPS , BASE PLAT , Payload , etc..) that will fly to the Hight 50 Km to 80 Km which is The Mesosphere and others things in the ppt.

Detailed Project Description

- What happens once the balloon rises?

- The reason behind the balloon's flight

- The buoyancy force

In our challenge, we will use GPS to track HAB, first, we used a smartphone that includes GPS, and we connect it to NASA servers and satellites, and secondly, we set the phone in the HAB payload, and we will be able to locate the phone in the hardware monitoring unit.

There is five prediction we can think of and based on that we can predict where it will land. Firstly, the balloon size, weight of the HAB, amount of helium in balloon, launch coordinate and finally time of launch. All of these factors can determine where it will likely or probably to land. Moreover, there is other things that are helpful for the recovery process, where there will be Aircraft recovery team and ground crew, these teams will follow and track the HAB through the GPs connecting in the payload and by using radio to communicate “Automatic packet reporting system” (connected with the HAB back to the ground station).

Space Agency Data

The helium gas used to release weather balloons is an inert gas that is naturally present in our atmosphere and has no effect on our environment. Another concern is the balloon. Our weather balloons are made from latex, a natural material made from tree sap and assembled in a manner similar to maple syrup. Although your chance of not being able to recover one of our kits is slim, we mostly use natural materials as primary structural members of our kit to be safe. Altitude science is serious about being a servant of our environment.

Hackathon Journey

IT WAS AGOOD EXPERIENCE FOR US AS A TEAM AND WILL LERNED HOW TO WORK AS A TEAM. AND DO THE PROJECT IN SHORT TIME
