How does the environment affect a HAB?
In the troposphere it comprises up to 14-15 kilometers and the HAB can be affected when faced with climatic changes such as wind, humidity, rain, lightning, heat and cold. Considering the aspect of humidity, the HAB could be affected by making its structure more vulnerable.
The temperature increases progressively from −55 ° C of the tropopause until it reaches 0 ° C of the stratopause, although according to some it can even reach 17 ° C or more.6 That is, in this layer the temperature increases with altitude , contrary to what happens in the upper and lower layers.
These progressive changes in temperature could contribute to the balloon bursting in less time.
What precautions should someone take when launching a HAB?
A person should consider an open space to launch the HAB, so that it does not collide with an obstacle and interfere with its ascent.
Also, the person must check that the parachute works properly for its correct operation.
Both the GPS device and the device that will be in charge of taking photos must be protected in the event of a sudden descent.
What are the different types of technology / techniques used to track a FAN?
The use of GPS will allow us to trace our HAB, it is a radio navigation system of the United States of America, based on space, that provides reliable services of positioning, navigation, and chronometry free and uninterrupted to civil users around the world. To anyone who has a GPS receiver, the system will provide its location and the exact time in any weather conditions, day or night, anywhere in the world and with no limit to the number of simultaneous users.
It should be noted that the signal emitted by the GPS will have to be long range so that our linked device can capture the signal it emits and our HAB does not get lost.

Because it is important?
The importance of the project is to carry out an investigation about the stratosphere between 10 and 20 km above the earth's surface. Exploring the possible visible changes in the stratosphere and what substances could adhere to the balloon upon returning to the surface.

Why is this important?
This project is very important, first our group could solve a difficult problem with our creativity and our research skills. Second, in the scientific field is very important to know different ways to do the same thing, for in case one fails, or stops being profitable, or if one is cheaper and better that the traditional way. And third, but not least, it is better for the environment to look for ways that do not have a negative and strong impact, both on flora and fauna.
What did you develop?
We did a cheap balloon and relatively easy, that can reach the near space.
How do you solve the challenge?
A HAB was carried out, capable of reaching a maximum distance of 20 kilometers above sea level. The same distance that is known as near space.
A HAB was carried out at home, using implements of daily life.
