Low cost- high altituted Parachute Design with STEM

High-Level Project Summary

Our project based by NASA's Artemis project problem. That problem was high cost and low altitude parachute ideas. We tried develop low cost and high altitude parachute with STEM lesson. NASA's spending a lot of budget for this project. And our team giving an idea for decreasing bugdet quantity. We will solve this problem with using some recycleable materials. Our earth has too much recycleable materials in nature. If we should use them we can make this project possibly low budget.

Detailed Project Description

We designed a STEM lesson for student to create some solutions to NASA's Artemis project problems.

Student used and learned scientific research steps

1) How to determinate problems

2) How to research

3) How to determinate materials

4) How to use materials

5) How to make designs

6) How to create a product

Our students was 2. grade students, and they used this steps easily

We used tinkercad and minecraft programs to make designs.

Space Agency Data

We used NASA Artemis project and NASA's supersonic parachute project informations

Hackathon Journey

Our team really enjoyed about Space Apps experience. They learned how to apply scientific research steps for daily life problems

We are really care about and ask to ourselves ' What is next after this Earth?' Because of this we choose this challenge
