High-Level Project Summary
Our project; Space Balloon - Nature One, its main objective is to motivate little scientists to broaden their curiosity about science and technology, to learn more about space. We will prepare everything to launch a space balloon with hydrogen, GPS AND CAMERA (Aerostatic Balloon) within two weeks, because that is when we have the authorization to launch in Tegucigalpa. This weekend we explained to our little scientist Andre about the materials we need and the methodology to follow to launch a balloon into space and we launched hot air balloons into the sky. We are from Honduras and we live in Tegucigalpa and we are the first Hondurans to participate in this event.

Detailed Project Description
TUTOR'S LESSON PLAN WITH STUDENT
"NEAR-SPACE NEAR YOU!"
A. OBJECTIVES
GOAL # 1
Develop a Lesson Plan.
TERMS
Considering Andre Mejia's age, the lesson plan should be as simple as possible, so that he can understand in a practical way, how to develop the challenge of how to send a balloon into near space.
RESULTS
At the end of the lesson, Andre Mejia will have the ability to understand the steps of how to develop a project and how it will be carried out.
GOAL # 2
Create a Bill of Materials.
TERMS
Given the economic limitations and that in the Honduran market, many components are not easily available, the list of materials should be composed of things that can be found at home, local market and donations.
RESULTS
By making the list of materials, Andre Enoch will learn how to make one, based on computer-aided design.
GOAL # 3
Send a Hot Air Balloon into near space.
TERMS
After completing the lesson plan and finding all the materials on the list of materials based on the design made, we will proceed to assemble the hot air balloon with all its components to launch into near space.
RESULTS
Andre Mejia at the end of the challenge, will learn that it has to be considered before sending the Hot Air Balloon, in order to find the geographical location of the balloon and collect the GPS navigation data and the camera video.
PLAN METHODOLOGY
1. ATTRACT ATTENTION.
Story or personal experience, tell an anecdote related to the challenge.
2. MOTIVATION
Teach him how fun science can be mixed with technology, so that he can discover how great this world is, that it has no limits to do anything, the only limit is our imagination.
3. PRESENTATION OF THE INSTRUCTION OBJECTIVES
The objectives of the lesson will be taught through a presentation of videos and essays given by the instructor, Honduran Air Force Officer Jorge Alberto GutiƩrrez Canales, with a pre-degree in Military Mechatronics Engineer, with experience in projects.
4. DEVELOPMENT OF THE THEME
INSTRUCTOR ACTIVITIES
1. What is a Hot Air Balloon
2. What is a Camera.
3. What is a GPS.
4. What is a Parachute.
5. CONCLUTIONS
1. VERIFY LEARNING
After Andre Mejia has given the class, he will be verbally evaluated, to verify how deep the learning was, if not satisfactory, he will be given a review to strengthen the learning.

Hackathon Journey
The student experience
Andre: It is an incredible experience, I learned a lot about the materials that are used to couple a balloon with a GPS, cameras and parachutes.
I liked it when my father Jorge explained to me, what are the components with which a balloon takes off to fly through the sky and space.
Tutor: I really liked sharing my knowledge with my son Andre and working as a team with him.
