VIEW FROM THE SPACE

High-Level Project Summary

1- What government organisations must people coordinate with to launch a HAB ? And what regulations must be followed ? 2- How does the environment affect a HAB ?3- How can someone predict the flight path (including landing area) of a HAB ?4- What are the minimum materials needed to launch a HAB ? And what else can be added ?5- Where can someone purchase items needed to build and launch a HAB?6- What are the different types of technology/techniques used to track a HAB?7- What cautions must someone take when launching a HAB?

Detailed Project Description

A high altitude balloon is an unmanned balloon meant to carry scientific payloads to perform experiments and collect data in near space environments sustained flight for months or even years. Compared with other air vehicles, the high-altitude balloon has long endurance time, which can achieve sustained and wider coverage for regional observation and detection .In order to provide a suitable working environment for the near-space detection load, it is necessary to design a sensor system based on the high-altitude balloon, which is used to provide environmental temperature, height position, and attitude information, working current and video surveillance.

Space Agency Data

This data was used to enriche the project and work on it, including information related to project "near space , near you" , which contains reliable scientific data, for example from NASA. and some other data from various sources.

Hackathon Journey

We are very excited about this project! It gave us the opportunity to learn many things about how to launch a HAB on our own and every details about this topic. We choose this challenge to learn more about it and to be able to build a high altitude balloon one day and of course to teach students how to build it. Also our goal is to contributes to the development of the national space sector in Tunisia. We work hard on bringing space technology to our country. My team has worked on resolving this challenge by collecting many informations about it from diverse resources. So I'd like to thank my team for making this happen and NASA for this great opportunity.
