High-Level Project Summary
A series of lessons that will allow those interested in different study areas to launch HAB with the aim of learning more about the behavior of the atmosphere, experiments with biological samples and handling sensors.

Detailed Project Description
The Stratosphere Project is an initiative that seeks to promote missions with stratospheric balloons with an astrobiological profile. In addition, through formative research, it seeks to develop different competencies that allow them to be better professionals.
Our launches have a latex balloon of different sizes, loaded with helium, and connected to a parachute and the payload, where our triangular platform is located, which carries with it different sensors, GPS and images.
In the lessons of this course we will show you how students and stakeholders will be able to plan, assemble, coordinate and carry out a successful HAB launch, as well as its recovery, using:
- Simulators to calculate helium.
- Programs to carry out a simulation of the trajectory.
- Choose an ideal launch site.
- Carry out the appropriate procedures before launch.
- Management of sensors.
- Get spectacular photo shots.
- Track the HAB correctly.
- Process the results.
All of this can be done efficiently thanks to the experience gained during our HAB launches into near space.
Space Agency Data
The innovative work developed by NASA's Glenn Research Center in Cleveland motivated us to include basic education students in our projects.

Hackathon Journey
An interesting experience where I was able to meet different projects that are developed in relation to stratospheric balloons, which makes us increasingly careful in what we are looking for or doing, which also feeds that spirit of competitiveness that is necessary for a better development of the projects that we will carry out, teamwork and how to be well under pressure conditions.
