We have developed a Mobile Application solution called V-HAB for "Near Space Near You!" problem statement using Unity as it a Cross platform. Our V-HAB application will help student fraternity to learn and Develop a High Altitude balloon for exploring the Near Space in the Stratosphere region above the Sea-level. The application contains three modules in which the first one is the lesson plan which will elucidate on how to built a low cost high altitude balloon for space exploration. The Second Module will elaborate on Bill of Materials in a narrative way which will excite the students to know more about the components and its cost estimation. Followed by which the third module uses the latest Augmented Reality technology to bring up the real time experience of Flying the High Altitude balloons for the users. It provides an Interactive forum of learning as well as implementing it during the time of study. By this we can very well create an awareness about HABs and its applications in real time. Our application also opens the gate for researches and future studies in the domain of Astronomy.
V-HAB application acts a common ground for learning as well as applying the concepts of High altitude balloon with respect to various experiments like capturing the photography of near space, for flight predictions, meteorology, communications and Telemetry etc. This application provides a unique solution through Augmented Reality and helps students to learn the concepts of HAB effectively. Being divided as the three important modularity, The first one about lesson plan will provide a clear picture for the learners regarding all aspects of High altitude balloon. Secondly the project describes on the Cost of Estimation for various components that are involved in developing, launching, tracking and recovering the balloon. The most interesting Modularity of the project spotlights the inclusion of Augmented Reality for creating Hands-On experience for the space enthusiasts. The software used here are the Unity and AR foundation which creates a great user experience overall.

We used this open-source in our study model where we take the information of this high altitude balloon design, loads, and their types like Conventional Ballooning, Long Duration Ballooning, Ultra Long Duration Ballooning (ULDB)
Hackathon Journey
The Nasa's Space app challenge has helped our team to get acquainted with the applications of Space exploration in developing a 3-D Model using Augmented Reality through a Mobile App in Unity Software. Along this entire journey we had a great opportunity to explore various aspects of Astronomy and its exciting day to day evolutions. It has helped us to develop an economically feasible model by finding an alternative for a huge satellite project. At the beginning we were wondering if a balloon can cope up with such an objective, it is possible for us to achieve great heights in Space ventures .Our team felt much delighted in bringing up such a model for students who are very curious about sky and space. Our application is a user friendly mode of learning which helps the students to learn , develop as well deploy the High altitude balloons for fulfilling various purposes. We also got an opportunity to dive deep into software like Unity, AR foundation etc. This really helped us to think beyond our capabilities and explore beyond our limitations. Team Vision feels grateful for joining this international app development competition. We hope our efforts will be recognized. We would like to thank our faculties for helping us on the same. As a take away, we would tell, it was a right place of innovation and implementation where students could develop themselves as a perfect space prodigies.
