High-Level Project Summary
Our aim was to raise awareness about wildfires happening lately. In this process, we acchieved new levels of working as a team and researching skills. in spite of our we learned some technological information . We prepared a website, this was the first time we set a site. It wasn’t that rough, however, it is impossible to tell the same about the animation and intro. Because none of us really knew how to make an animation. But, we did our bests to inform more people with our interactive portal. We basically put the demo video of satellites to our website. Satellites are the best way to detect a wildfire fastly. It will detect and inform locals first, then the vital precautions can be took.

Detailed Project Description
Wildfires are a crucial issue for us, especially considering the activites nowadays. In this context, we preferred to research natural disasters. We prepared to shoot a video and uploaded it to our website. It shows the satellites dealing with the causes and consequences of forest fires, the activities of people, and detailed explanations. This is an interactive design which users may control wtih arrow keys in their keyboard. While they can play our game and beat scores, they can also read blogs or news about the topic.We have seen that the research we have done on this topic, could attract people's attention and attention for this issue. This has contributed a lot to us. We approached an event, not only superficially, but, researching it deeply. We hope that our demo video, which we support with animations, was informative and useful. Our final outcome, the inclusive website, is also easy to use. We used Renderforest, Wix, IMovie as applications to help us and Blender as a software.
Space Agency Data
While designing and preparing this project, we decided on which subject we would read first and tried to reach the main information on that subject. In this project, where we focused on wildfires, firstly we found out why the fires have increased recently. In the past, we used "Environmental Justice: A Call to Action with NASA Earth Observations, Protected Planet Report 2020, Peace, dignity and equality on a healthy planet, Texas Disasters, AMS-Wildfire data in Operational Fire and Smoke Applications” from the resources shared by the Space App competition. In addition, the graphics in the resources we used were very useful for our project. I can say that we can easily reach information such as the effects of wildfires on the environment and mortality rate.
Hackathon Journey
It was the first ever competition that we participated in as a group and we were exhilarated. In this project, we went through a detailed research process and learned a lot of new things. While some of us didn't know much about space, we got information thanks to this project and we have to say that it was good for us. The day we chose the topic we all gathered together and made a selection by voting the categories. Nevertheless, when we realized that we had much better ideas and applications under the name of "Space for Change", we decided on this. We liked the section on forest fires that we chose, as it is an up-to-date and important topic. And we put it into practice with great enthusiasm. We chose to stay calm and take breaks at first when problems arose. After collecting our idead, we started working again and divided the labor. We would like to thank our mentors, teachers and the Space-Apps team who gave us ideas while implementing this project.
