High-Level Project Summary
As a whole, environmental problems can be identified quickly because mitigation measures are available and the benefits of reducing vulnerability can, to a large extent, outweigh the costs. This challenge was addressed through information from the space app challenge, which incorporates natural hazard considerations into the early stages of the integrated development planning and investment project formulation process and the proportion of funds allocated to prevention activities in relation to those allocated to post-disaster rehabilitation and reconstruction work.

Detailed Project Description
This proposal would work .
In a software that would help communities to identify, reduce and respond to natural disasters. This software would work with computer scientists in the area of natural disaster management to strengthen response capacity in the most vulnerable communities through the creation of citizen solutions and applications; it would be an open data platform that provides access to verified and contrasted geospatial data, services and applications for use by the public and government agencies.
Using technology such as:
Use of remote sensing in natural hazard assessments.
Special mapping techniques
Geographic information systems.
Sending alerts to the new early warning system can save lives.
Provide online and detailed information on the condition of structures after a natural disaster.
What they are based on
The use of software allows to be more predictive and to anticipate those risks that have been occurring over and over again. through a technological platform making possible the management of a high number of data, which can be analyzed through business intelligence tools.
The use of early warning systems can save lives: early warning systems can prevent loss of life and property if they are calibrated to respond to different types of hazards and if citizens are well aware of them.
How it works
An early warning system is a climate change adaptation measure that uses integrated communication systems to help communities prepare for climate-related hazards.
What they are based on
on empowering people and communities threatened by disaster risk to act in a timely and appropriate manner to reduce the likelihood of personal injury, loss of life and damage to property or their environment.
What are the benefits?
· Being able to save more lives.
· The development of a "safety culture", where the different members of a society are aware of the threats they face and know how to protect themselves against them.
· The dissemination of risk-related aspects in clear and simple language, avoiding, as far as possible, technicalities and ensuring that the message is understood by the recipients of the messages.
What do you hope to achieve?
With the proposed solution we hope to have equal knowledge in case of a disaster caused by the environment, which in turn will save more lives, and provide more resources after the environmental hazard; improve communication in case of disaster should be a dynamic, participatory and interactive process where the different actors involved are involved, constituting an essential strategy for effective inter-institutional and community coordination.
Space Agency Data
https://appliedsciences.nasa.gov/our-impact/story/environmental-justice-call-action-nasa-earth-observations -We use this article as inspiration because it shows how environmental injustice occurs in all parts of the world, as well as how to use satellites to decide which area may be the most vulnerable.
https://sdgstoday.org/ It helped us to see the countries where people were in extreme poverty, so that at the time of making our proposal we could think of economic solutions that could be used in countries with extreme poverty.
Hackathon Journey
1/ How would you describe your experience in space App?
R/ As a group we can say that Space App is an innovation program that allows us as students to take advantage of our experience and develop our skills, especially to approach the solution of these challenges with new innovative perspectives with the purpose of creating and defining proposals of interest for society and scientific development.
2- What did you learn?
R/ We learned to implement our skills and think in an analytical way. It is a tool that allows us to go beyond the different challenges, in order to show the way to innovate and propose solutions that we as students seek to develop.
3/ What inspired your team to choose this challenge?
R/ We were mostly inspired by the Latin American countries that are the most affected by these disasters, sometimes caused by the lack of adequate prevention measures, and poor land management by people, leading to huge social, environmental and economic losses.
4- What was your approach to develop this project?
R/ More than anything else we focused on the consequences, since in recent years there has been a lot of talk about the serious crisis that awaits humanity, that is why we are looking for alternatives on how to reverse these incidents that happen every year and less of these problems affect our humanity.
5- How did your team solve the setbacks and challenges?
R/ By organizing ourselves as teams in order to have a good result, in spite of the difficulties regarding the time of each of the members, since we were a little late in collecting the ideas for our project.
6- Is there anyone you would like to thank and why?
R/ Mainly to the organizers of this event that are the ones who carry this project so that it can be carried out year after year offering opportunities in development of each professional and at the same time to give us that confidence and to propose us a goal as group to be able to make possible this challenge.
