High-Level Project Summary
This project is highly encouraged to help minorities who are living in hazardous places. There are lots of resources that can help these countries to develop, but because of the damages and environmental hazards, these people are facing problems. Our challenge is to help people who are trying to recover after all these damages and decrease the potential problems. We are developing a prospective device that can decrease the damage of tsunamis and floods. It can probably help them to be safer. That is the most important reason and we want to develop.

Detailed Project Description
What exactly does it do?
It partially stops tsunami by absorbing and pushing back with a high force that resists the upcoming waves.
How Does it Work?
The "FATR" will have an automatic gate that will be monitored by a special person, or it can be tied to a tsunami protection system that alerts people about an approaching threat. During an alarm, the gate automatically opens horizontally, the tsunami that will already be on land will carryback, but only a part of it.
What benefits does it have?
It decreases the damage of tsunamis and lessens the height of waves. It saves lives, homes, money, and the environment.
What do you hope to achieve?
Our goal is to save the lives of million of people who live in places where there is a greater chance of occurrence of tsunami.
Due to the lack of professional members in our team, we could not use some advanced tools to improve the quality of our project. Here are some basic tools we used for this project: squarespace.com, canva.com, paint, and of course pen and paper.)
Space Agency Data
https://climate.nasa.gov/ this page helped us with sattelight data of climate changes. It inspired us to go deeply with global floods which are very harmful for all of us.
https://earthdata.nasa.gov/learn/sensing-our-planet/sizing-a-tsunami more information about tsunamis and calculations about it.
https://www.asc-csa.gc.ca/eng/satellites/disasters.asp Canadian Space agency which provided us about international disasters
Hackathon Journey
This project was the biggest challenge we have ever had. Last 48 hours of journey we were so much nervous but by the time experience showed us that we can be more patient and open-minded to complete the project. Our challenge inspired us by being helpful and interesting because we all are so much into working and inventing something new which can help others. We tried to solve the problem by creating a potential device that can decrease the damage of tsunamis. Here we experienced global challenge which could teach us lots of lessons on team work and project creation. We want to thank Nilufar Muradova so much because she answered all our questions and explained to us the main steps of the project. I am sure that after all these works we all will be able to resist hard works and problems.
