High-Level Project Summary
We developed a project to raise awareness and practice in the pollution of rivers, soils, biodiversity and the depletion of natural resources in the environment in rural regions and with the development of biodigestor septic tanks, for families that do not have basic sanitation, and the importance of this for the environment and apart from raising awareness among children and adolescents through education, it resolves in the long term people would have more awareness about the environment, how to keep it clean and how to preserve it, people who are less needy would have basic sanitation and could use waste as fertilizer for planting and we would have a more preserved and optimal environment

Detailed Project Description
This project develops knowledge and encourages care for the environment, provides basic sanitation to underprivileged people in rural areas, develops the concept of volunteering for something greater and a purpose of improvement, we will start with children and adolescents, providing education through material and developing an activity in partnership with the school in practice, to develop care for the environment according to age, also encourage teenagers to volunteer to bring relatives and show their advantages for them and their community, we will have contractors from region to apply the installation of the biodigestor septic tank we will carry out the training, we will give the residents the maintenance of the septic tank, how to make and maintain it, we will give support, this in partnership with the city hall and private companies, we will try to work in different ways to raise the money to be converted in the region, this brings awareness of the environment as we can change and sanitize the basics for marginalized rural dwellers, we intend to create a better world for everyone, our languages would be didactic and understandable for the region, and we used computers to develop the project.
Space Agency Data
Our inspiration was based on NASA's study that presents data on marginalized regions and we draw from the history of environmental justice that part of the story. I help us start with the idea: “Environmental injustice occurs when certain communities face a disproportionate burden of environmental challenges, such as exposure to air pollution, contaminated water, loss of habitat and interrupted livelihoods due to natural hazards and climate change.”. From this study, we talked about the problem not only in urban areas, but also in rural areas that are often forgotten when a dialogue on the subject is opened. Because of this, we decided to focus our project on rural areas.
Hackathon Journey
As we are college classmates and study administration, we wanted to do something based on what we studied in our course. Therefore, we chose to create a project that focuses on the creation of a non-profit institution. The experience was wonderful and very instructive, by the combination of idea, points of view and the animation of the viable possibility of what we designed and so we can see many articles having a real basis of what happens in the world, we learn more about the environment what can be done and about marginalized people, we chose this challenge with the idea of being able to make a difference and who knows how to change Brazil and even the world, we used the approach of getting the team together, each person read one about the challenge and its resources, we debated ideas, we saw which would be more viable and good, and we developed it all through googlemeet, we solved everything with great dedication and organization so as not to be too heavy for everyone, I would like to thank the whole team for their dedication and trying to develop a great project, because despite small, the dedication was great.
