High-Level Project Summary

Our challenge is to use NASAs earth observation data to identify regions where such environmental injustice occurs and design implementable solution that enable equitable outcomes so we will put a device at the top of the large tubes that emits harmful gases this device will take this harmful gases and passes through tube like the valve of the heart that close to prevent coming back then we will use compressor to dissolve the harmful gases in water then it will pass through tube again to go to filtered to separate the pure water from gases this project is important because it collect the harmful gases in the filter to prevent environmental pollution

Detailed Project Description

The idea of the project is to eliminate the smoke from factories which is a threat to the life of the planet. By compressing and dissolving it in water.

And then we're going to filter the water and get rid of that smoke.

The material used in initiation is something that compresses. The stainless steel box is the least reactant and will not be significantly affected in the long term either. Pipes for connection and valves for water entry or exit control.The advantage of the project is that we've completely decontaminated without adversely affecting anything else. Also, the project isn't complicated to make because the materials we used are available everywhere with low cost.

We hope to save our planet from the risks that it faces, such as global warming, ozone drilling, the sinking of coastal cities, and the extinction of animals from changes in the atmosphere, all caused by pollutants from factories mainly. We also hope that, even with a little bit of thought, we're going to eliminate this pollution.

In the first unit in chemistry, he was talking about pressure, or rather the pressure of gases, and from here the idea came to us, so we thought about how to compress gases and turn them into a liquid substance that flows in the sea, thus reducing the smoke of factories and cleaning seawater from liquid gases through filtering


We have researched the subject. We searched for the components of factory gas and how to convert them into a liquid substance that melts in the sea. We also researched how to filter water because we will not leave it like this. This is a pollutant thing for the environment. Compressed gas to the sea.


In the end, we came to our idea: compressing factory gases and converting them into a liquid substance that dissolves in water in order to get rid of factory gas pollutants and then filter the water.

Hackathon Journey

the NASA applications experience was one of the fun and interesting experiences that my team and I had, and it was one of the unique experiences that taught us and learned many information about each problem and challenge, looking at their details and even thinking about solving each challenge, so it was a different experience for us. we learned many things in this experience, the first of which is working in a team and hearing and accepting the opinions of others. going deeper in research until they became proficient in it in searching for complete information and others, the principle of cooperation and participation in work, and that the secret of your success in the competition is the success of the entire team. the thing that encouraged my team in choosing this challenge is the existence of the solution to this challenge in chemistry in our study, where we found part of the solution in and how to explain it.at first, we thought about how to reduce air pollution from factories, then we found that we can dissolve the harmful gases that are produced in the water by using pressure, and finally we filtered the water so as not to pollute the water.so far, we have not encountered any difficulties or challenges except for the difference in research, and we were facing these problems calmly. Finally, we would like to thank Mays Doaa, the chemistry teacher in our school.
