High-Level Project Summary
We worked together to develop an app that is multifunctional and very useful in many ways. Our team developed an app that lets you see all the newest disasters and problems in the world, it also has older events, making it have huge potential if it falls into the right hands and gets the needed updates. This is a prototype of an app that lets you be well informed about what is going on in the world as it contains all the events, problems and disasters and also lets you help us by leaving comments with your opinions, thoughts, solutions, reporting new accidents or news. If you wish to help these people there is a donation button.

Detailed Project Description
Our team developed an app that keeps track of all recent events and disasters all around the world and we all agree it has huge potential. When you join the app you are met by a greeting of us! SpaceJam! Once you get past that you are introduced to our motto and are led to a page where you can make your own account or log into one if you already have, you can also join in guest mode. Once you log in you are led to the home page. There are a few features on the home page including a search bar where you are able to search for a specific event or disaster, there is a world button that shows a map of the world, and all the places that have had a disaster, event or problem are marked. There is also a settings button on the home page. It shows you a few options, the language option, which lets you select the language of your choice. It has a donation button that lets you see the progress we have made with the donations people have made or donate for the cause they choose. On the homepage, there is also a list of categories of the world problems, like fires, floods, pollution... Once you choose the category you wish to, you are led into a subcategory where all the recent events of that specific field. When you open a specific page from the subcategory you get a description of what happened and at the end, there is a comment section where the general public can give their opinions and thoughts on how to solve the problem. There is also a donation button if they wish to donate for that specific cause. In the settings options there is also an option called "about us", it tells a little bit about us, our team, what motivated us and NASA. On the home page, there is also an option for the public to make a report of a new event, problem, or disaster. If you choose this option you need to fill out a few questions regarding what they are reporting, what category it falls into, and also where it happened. We think this app has amazing potential and if it gets the attention, updates, and reports it deserves it can truly be very helpful to the general public so they can be informed about what is going on in the world and also they can help us by giving us their input, ideas and opinions, and donations which could be very helpful so we can provide disaster relief. We wish to help both, the nature and people around the world with this app, by combining both the general public and NASA. We used Adobe Xd to develop this prototype and hope you can also share our enthusiasm regarding this project!
Thank you for your time,
With regards, SpaceJam
Space Agency Data
As space agency data our team used information from "United Nations Environment Programme Science Data". This site shares data relevant to environmental rights and governance. We used the general idea from the programme to build our app. The disasters that happen all over the world and the people in need inspired us for this project, solidarity and philanthropy is needed in this world. Thanks to NASA for the resources they provide to us we found all the information we needed.
Hackathon Journey
Our Space Apps experience was truly one of a kind. Three people from different parts of the county who have never seen or known each other working together towards the same goal. It was quite the adventure! We learned that creativity and ideas can come in all kinds of forms, some of them least expected but great non the last, we also learned that patience is key when you are working on this kind of project and that hard work pays off in the end but also that collaboration is the most important thing of all. Together we were able to grow, talk, express our ideas and improve our project. It has truly been a very meaningful experience but we had our fair share of accidents as well... as a team who had no idea about the software they were using it was quite an interesting experience to see us being totally lost and making a huge number of mistakes, our computers glitching and stopping to work, the hours past midnight spent on this project and the number of coffees that were drunk in the making of this prototype, we can truly say they were our best friends for the last 48 hours. We would also like to thank our mentor and NASA for giving us this chance and experience and we would also like to thank you reader for taking the time to read through our project and get to know our team a little better and experiences.
Respectfully, SpaceJam
