We went through all the NASA research we could find about Fabric. Where we got the inspection from microencapsulated material used in NASA space textile. We have developed a fabric using nano LED and electro-active material that can change color and show different patterns. Our fabric can change the color according to the electric signal. We are developing an app by which we can control the design and the color of this fabric. NAS uses mineral fibers for sustainable fabric. Like carbon fiber. But that's very expensive. So we have developed our fabric based on Rayon which is Semi-synthetic fabric or regenerative fabric. We used the same construction methods NASA uses for their Latest act
We are Team TexGen.
Working on a Fabric which can change color and show different patterns according to the electromagnetic signals.
In this fabric, we used NASA's Fabric research to combine nano LED and electro active material on a Semi Synthetic fiber.
With our fabric, People don't need to change their clothes for different designs. Which will definitely reduce the wastage of clothes at least 40 to 60 % . This will decrease environmental injustice and bring sustainable clothing with no compromise to the user end.
That's why we say we are working for the future of Textiles. Working to give our future generations a better and equal environment.
The NASA International Space Apps Challenge (Space Apps) is an international hackathon for coders, scientists, designers, storytellers, makers, builders, technologists, and others in cities around the world, where teams engage the National Aeronautics and Space Administration’s (NASA’s) free and open data to address real-world problems on Earth and in space. For one weekend each October, participants from around the world come together over a 48-hour period to solve challenges submitted by NASA personnel. Space Apps introduces problem-solvers worldwide to NASA’s free and open data. By using NASA data to solve each year’s challenges, Space Apps teams learn about NASA’s data, and share in the creation and application of the knowledge that results.
We have submitted the video of our project here according to the specific category.
After all, we have learned a lot from this. I have received many suggestions from many mentors on how we can take our plan one step further.
We would like to take part in such a good platform again.

This project has been submitted for consideration during the Judging process.
Marginalized communities are often disproportionately impacted by environmental hazards. Your challenge is to use NASA's Earth observation data to: 1) identify regions where such environmental injustice occurs, and 2) design implementable solutions that enable equitable outcomes.
