High-Level Project Summary
NASArthura is a virtual boardgame, with the objective of reaching the limits of our solar system and back, exploring the planets along the way, with various funfacts about the solar system and pop culture references that work as wildcards, that can help or harm the player. All this so we can teach about our solar system in a fun and simple way.

Detailed Project Description
NASArtura is a virtual boardgame developed on the language C, using the DEV C++ tool, using a a board we found on the internet as a base for the logic of the game, The game is simple, you start at the earth and your objective is going to the limit of the solar system and back. The player progress by the roll of the dice implemented in the software, every round the dice is automatically
trown. Your spacecraft will have lives, if your lives reach 0 is game over.
The game board will have 4 different tiles taht you can land on:
NORMAL TILES = These are the most abundant tiles, they will not have a effect on the player, but they will have some funfacts about the solar system and the planets inside it.
HELP TILES = These tiles will help the player get further on their objective, skipping a number of tiles by using the gravity assist.
HARM TILES = These will set the player back some tiles, either by software error or any other stumble during the course of the game.
WILD CARD TILES = These can be either helpful, harmful or even ending the adventure abruptly
, using some pop culture references so we could make the game more fun.
Space Agency Data
We have used the resource "Basic of Space Flight" so we can implement the Gravity Assist on the game board. We also have used some other resources available on the NASA solar system web site, so we can learn more about the solar system and the planets so we could implement the some funfacts in our game.
Hackathon Journey
First of, I have to say that making this game was extremely fun and educational. Our team choose this challenge thinking that would be easy to understand the topics, so we could implement on our game using the little that we know about programming, so we could learn about space and programming at the same time.
