High-Level Project Summary
After the tension between the USA and China, the world has come to the brink of extinction. The crew named “Last Pioneers” formed by EASA (Earth Space Agency) lost their communication and never heard anything from them again. Player's task is complete the Last Pioneers' mission and create the foundations for creating life on Planet X. The aim of the game is to explain the properties of the planets with an adventure and explain the functions and habitability of the planets in the distant future to the player. The importance of the project is to encourage new acquaintances with space and learn to use resources of the planets with the most active way by integrating with the character.

Detailed Project Description
The main purpose of the project is to encourage people who are new to space to explore space and to show them how we can use them to our advantage by effectively explaining the properties of planets.
For this purpose, applications called Davinci Resolve, Google Documents, Audacity and Sketchbook Mobile were used in the production of the concept of the computer game that we intend to develop with the Godot game engine.
The player will primarily try to complete the missions left unfinished by Last Pioneers and will embark on various missions for the sake of bringing life to Planet X.
At the beginning of the story, the player will find a secret notebook and discover that this notebook is actually the notebook of the "Last Pioneers" who landed on the planet before them. This notebook contains the information of the materials they have collected from other planets in order to carry out their colony activities on that planet as a result of their research. In this direction, the player will first repair the base on Planet X and then obtain the necessary materials from the relevant planets to meet the needs of the colony.
We have determined the games target audience as children, and as a result of the player's completion of the tasks, it is aimed to improve the knowledge about space, to increase the desire to research about space and to have fun.
Space Agency Data
We used data from NASA's website in our game. We have created the basis for using this data to make the story of our game based on reality and to instill knowledge about planets to the player while designing the missions and to use the materials contained by the planets to overcome the problems they encounter while playing the game. These data showed our project that the resources of the planets in the solar system and beyond are enormous and inspired us to use them.
We made our project permanent by using the free domain name provided by NASA and opened our project to the virtual world.
Using resources such as IBM and Microsoft, we expanded our data pool and designed a thriller story for the future.
Hackathon Journey
We would describe our Space Apps experience as inspiring, challenging and fun. This journey had made us improve ourselves about team coordination, game design and space. We chose this challenge because we really believed that we could create a good game concept that can be fun and informative. We are really happy and satisfied with the result and we think we made the right choice. We mostly had problems about solidifying our ideas into a real concept but after the backstory was completed most of the stones feel into the place. We would like to thank all the ODTU GGT team for organizing the local part of this hackathon.
