High-Level Project Summary
We developed a cyborg called Guion Cyborg that was inspired by the astronaut Guion Bluford. This superhero is very smart and has power to restoure burned forests in Brazil. We were reading a CNN`s newspaper about burned forest in our country (Brazil), and we were shocked to see the terrible consequences of this problem to the Earth. This fact inspirate us to think in a character who has power to solve this question and, more than this, be a symbol of environmental restoration. Guion Cyborg is important to be a motivation for our generation because he, with his technology and power, can saves the Brazil and world.

Detailed Project Description
We got Photoshop to simulate our mascot. With it, we would be able to recover the damage caused by burning and deforestation, which are harmful to the Earth and which over the years can cause a human race to become extinct. The mascot will do as actions through its powers, with the ability to predict, locate and prevent such events in the environment. We would use technological tools to create a companion personality that takes care of our forests, in addition to showing it all that is expected to fulfill its actions.
What exactly does this do?
The created mascot Guion Cyborg, aims to help the planet Earth by providing and providing the population with a better quality of the life, that is, air, water, climate. It's other purpose is to recreate what was destroyed by human consequence, thereby making people aware of taking better care of their natual habitat.
How it works?
Our Cyborg has enough technology to walk through the woods and take care of the burnt soil, the more burnt the soil is, the more nutrients the Cyborg will deposit on it. After that, reforestation will be carried out, trees will be planted as well as other types of plants. Once this part is completed, the Cyborg will attract animals such as birds, monkeys, among others, with food, but not just any food. Seeds will be implanted that will be digested and when discarded, will help to fertilize the land and new fruits will be born.
What benefits does this bring?
Obviously one person could do Cyborg's work. With that in mind, an accelerated system was made. What does that mean? It means that Guion moves and does its actions quickly. While a human would take days, Cyborg does the work of 3 humans together in just 10 hours, so the process is fast and extremely beneficial to the environment. This will help restore forests, in light of this, the Earth will have a better climate, where animals will not suffer as much from lack of habitat and neither will humans from lack of rain or constant fear of forests being replaced by dark and dark scenery. burned.
Space Agency Data
Our project was based on the principles of the NASA space agency. However, we used ex-astronaut Guion Bluford as an example and inspiration for the creation of Cyborg, who was a great professional throughout his career, in addition to being the first black astronaut from the United States to go into space, being a great reference to all who unfortunately suffer racism and most of the time are doubted about their ability, that's why we decided to make our mascot like Guion, as a form of representation. Above all, we made it to have a companionship personality, which is something valued within NASA, where it facilitates social interaction and has a feeling of welcome on the part of the cyborg.
Hackathon Journey
We found our Space Apps experience fruitful, we felt we learned a lot about environmental issues and learned a lot about vegetation restoration methods. We confess that the current situation in Brazil in terms of fires captivated us to carry out this project and our interest in reading school materials on this topic. We would like to thank NASA for giving us this wonderful opportunity.
