High-Level Project Summary
Our project consists of a black Super Heroine, who fights for environmental causes and especially against global warming, to save her generation and ensure a better life for the next.In this case, its power is phytosynthesis, in which it can control plants and trees and make them grow. With that, it could reforest several areas and thus reduce carbon dioxide and consequently reduce several factors, one of them being global warming. But this is a basis of a story that can be adapted into a comic book, movie, series or cartoon. The goal is that the super heroine through media inspire people to fight for environmental causes and become aware of various issues. environment, in addition to knowi

Detailed Project Description
In the Plant Woman designer's creation project, the group thought of a character that would have a huge visual aspect, making her bring along with her image a female and social empowerment, which she is a genuinely black superheroine, what one does by raising the racial issues.
Plant Woman was created with the objective of combating the effects caused by climate change, that is, through the great power of influence that a superheroine possesses, she will encourage mass reforestation. Therefore, through its superpower, called phytokinesis, which is the ability to manipulate plant life, it will be able to manipulate roots, flowers and vines, so that reforestation occurs at last. Through the process of mutating the DNA of plants, Plant Woman will be able to accelerate the development of growth through photosynthesis, thus, they would grow faster without losing their natural quality.
According to Dias (1993), those most responsible for gases released into the atmosphere are fires. Environmental crimes, such as deforestation, water pollution, burning of pastures and so on, have contributed to the reduction of life on the planet. In this way, the superheroine will rescue the devastated areas and bring life to the place. Given the above, Plant Woman will bring benefits to all of humanity, such as: preservation and recovery of degraded ecosystems, control of soil erosion, prevention of river siltation, reduction of global warming processes, retention of pollutants in the atmosphere, among others.

Space Agency Data
In this research, the Tucuju Stars team made use of the article: Climate Change and its environmental impacts on crop growth, from the NASA database. Through this topic, it was possible to get an idea about the impacts generated to the ozone layer, thus, our team had an inspiration for the creation of Plant Woman, in order to enable an improvement in the quality of human life through the reforestation process.
Hackathon Journey
Our experience with Space Apps was very good, in fact this was the first time that the members of the group Estrelas Tucuju participated in this project. The interesting thing was to have access to various resources provided by NASA and thus acquire a lot of knowledge and memories. We learned several things in this challenge, but mainly issues related to the environment, but specifically to global warming and how it can affect our lives and future generations. On our team we like heroes and all this vast universe of them, so we found the idea of creating our own character with an Earth characteristic interesting. In this project we decided to make a black super heroine who would fight for the environment (especially against global warming) and who could deal with other cultural issues. We organized and divided the challenge into topics and so, each member took care of a specific one, and we also organized our time to be able to meet this challenge. Firstly, we want to thank God for this opportunity and secondly to Aira Beatriz Cardoso who has always been helping us and answering questions.
