High-Level Project Summary
Would you like to create a superhero that identifies you to save the planet Earth? Super, now thanks to this website you can create your planetary superhero knowing the resources of the Earth through the use of machine learning, editor program and an avatar creation website. Thanks to Magical Planet, where you can explore your creativity and what is available today thanks to NASA, as well as have fun with your friends creating stories of their superheroes. Focusing especially on the Gaia penguin that represents hope for life in the face of climate change. The purpose of Magical Planet is to show mysteries of the deep sea and terrestrial life in which we live.

OUR TARGET AUDIENCE
Our project is aimed at children and teenagers from all over the world. Science is very interesting and fun, it is a world to explore. Around the world many people still do not have access to the resources that science offers, so Magical Planet's overall goal is to raise awareness of the Earth's capabilities and generate possible solutions to reduce severe climate change. What's going on? There is a huge amount of support in the world, feeling attraction for STEM careers. But generally in many schools they are still taught in a very traditional way making students see it as boring and many do not have ideas, projects in mind for a better world. Knowledge, creativity and values are important to create your planetary superhero. Geia has the superpower of Earth regeneration.

Science in education: SDG (2021) has as Goal 4 "Ensure education that is inclusive, equitable and of quality by promoting equal opportunities for lifelong learning for all". Several dropped out of school for different reasons. Currently in many countries they returned to face-to-face classes, here in Peru they continue with virtual classes generating a radical change in the life of the student in all sectors making them more vulnerable and marginalized; but not all present these cases. All over the world through our platform we call on children and adolescents to learn more about this magical planet through the creation of superheroes.
Before, it was thought that women should only dedicate themselves to the house and take care of their families, limiting them when choosing the path they choose, either because of prejudices and social norms. In STEM-related careers, men predominate, but this is currently changing as a result is that 29.3% of women are researchers worldwide and 3% of Nobel prizes in science have been awarded to women. (UNESCO 2020). And through the colors we show different ethnicities that our avatar creation platform offers, we demonstrate the diversity that exists around the world.

Many children dream of being superheroes, astronauts and sometimes over the years some are no longer inspired, they no longer follow their dream. And many times it is reflected in the PISA test in science, showing the Dominican Republic in some countries with alarming scores, such as in Latin America. And in first world countries, positive results such as China and Singapore.
OUR MISSION AND KEY MESSAGE
Magical Planet will make children and adolescents show curiosity towards the scientific field, especially in the face of the reality that we face, that is, the evil climate change. That children have a role model for their whole life, that they be leaders, union, inclusion, teamwork and excellence, but without forgetting how fun science is so that they do not live stressed all their lives.
Our planetary superheroes are role models, they generate a strong impact on children and adolescents as well as creativity and the expansion of their knowledge for a better world and thus perhaps one day they will achieve their goals such as entering NASA to work, that it would be great.
We also, through our platform, want to reach many remote places where there is hardly any access to studying a STEM career, whether due to economic, social or cultural factors. In Peru, many children in the Andean area have to walk hours to get to their educational center, exposing themselves to dangers such as low temperatures affecting their health, causing pneumonia and other cardiorespiratory diseases.
Our star superhero is Gaia, which means Earth, she is brave who presents certain powers that manage to regenerate the Earth in the face of perverse climate change.
In addition, children and adolescents can create their superhero in different colors showing the diversity of ethnic groups that were previously oppressed and also choose the power that their superhero will have.
OUR STAR SUPERHERO IS GAIA
Here we will show what super power it has and also the characteristics in detail. And finally to the variety of superheroes that exist according to their superpower. Later we can include more variety in the characters and designs for greater diversity.

Space Agency Data
How we use space agency data in this project
Images and resources from the gallery of the space agency were used to illustrate all the concepts and discoveries related to each scientific aspect discussed. Providing accessible information to children and adolescents, as well as their creativity to develop their planetary superhero that is real thanks to Space Agencies such as NASA, with the resources that the Earth provides us.
APPLICATION OF MULTIMEDIA LEARNING PRINCIPLES
Planetary superheroes will support science classes as motivation to continue studying and more now for remote education. There are various investigations that strengthen our page because currently children learn more with multimedia animations and continuous reading according to the cognitive theory proposed by Richard Mayer in 2014. He proposes that images and words complement each other for deep learning in the memory of long term.
How we develop this project
We are a team that work hard to carry this out despite only being university students but committed to participating in this project that benefits universal education.
Now, we will show you our achievement in this short time using the necessary resources. We met first through the Microsoft Teams platform where we started to work, but when we saw that the group leader did not have Hotmail, we used Google meet to finish the work.
The links are: https://teams.live.com/meet/93481550092033 and https://meet.google.com/nbf-ueih-cof. And for the elaboration of ideas to see what superpower our character would have, we use I look with this link: https://miro.com/app/board/o9J_ltUPNfc=/?fromRedirect=1.
We have created a web page with GoDady where our real idea is presented, the link is this: https://magicalplanet.earth/. In this we made children and adolescents more aware of the various capacities that our planet Earth has and interact with the user by creating their superheroes, using our star planetary superhero, which is Gaia, as an example. Another resource we use is Adobe Illustrator to create Gaia and thus generate the other characters. Through the Picrew platform we create the game with this link: https://picrew.me/image_maker/1306462. Finally, the video that consists of 30 seconds was made by Filmora.
