High-Level Project Summary
Our project is the creation of the Super Hero "Captain Carbon", who performs the Greenhouse Effect on Earth, in addition to having as a superpower the ability to capture excess greenhouse gases (CO2, CH4 and others) in the atmosphere and transform them into solid blocks. Thus, these blocks are targeted to the world market which can be included in alternative fuels, dry ice, food, refrigeration and other commercial applications.

Detailed Project Description
Our project is the creation of the Super Hero "Captain Carbono", who performs the Greenhouse Effect on Earth, in addition to having as a superpower the ability to capture excess greenhouse gases (CO2, CH4 and others) in the atmosphere and transform them into solid blocks. Thus, these blocks are targeted to the world market which can be included in alternative fuels, dry ice, food, refrigeration and other commercial applications.
The purpose of its creation is to raise awareness and highlight the importance of natural cycles that occur on Earth, highlighting the Greenhouse Effect, which influences the global average temperature, pole glaciers, the course of ocean currents, precipitation, well-being of animals and other aspects.
Finally, it would be nice to say “once again Captain Carbon saves the day”, but today he needs You to amplify the message about Climate Change in the world and the risks for the different species living in it.
Story, created by us, that inspired the creation of Captain Carbon: Midgard and the Ragnarok
In a very specific location in a very specific galaxy there is an apparently common solar system, but it is home to a very special planet, this planet has a unique power and this same power caused a very random thing to happen, one whose other planet is said to possess, life.
Over billions of years, five kingdoms of living beings were established on Earth, the planet in question, and within the kingdom of animals a species was gradually taking up space and with a notable evolution, the more time passed, the more this species evolved, creating unprecedented intelligence. Brute force, which was previously the question to determine where a species was in the chain of living beings, has become just a statistic before these beings, and what has become the most important thing for intelligence, which avoided the self-proclaimed human beings from be extinct in the face of different situations, on the contrary, they began to inhabit the entire planet.
And as this race grows, the more their actions change the natural course they inhabit, the Earth. Many times this race feels not in control of everything and wants to be on top of everything, and this attitude has created a very tragic event for the history of this very planet. An industrial revolution, named by men, was a time of many technological advances and which in a short period were clearly very beneficial to the human race, but over time the damage to it became clear.
As soon as man went through handling fossil fossils and their derivatives for their own benefit, they made the mistake of accelerating the dissipation of one of the most important powers on Earth, the shield it has against radiation, that's right, the greenhouse effect.
Currently we can almost certainly say that other planets already had or if they do not yet have this power, but it is well weakened due to an absolute force that reigns over everything, time.
Only one certainty we gather before the entire universe, and that is that everything has an end, perhaps in the perception of time that the human race has, some things seem to last forever, but we know that this is not the case. And one day like everything else, the Earth's super power will end, and it may be that the reason it ends is not so dreadful time, but humans, who greedily play at being God, a being. supreme and absolute that has control over everything, but the more these beings think they are in control, the more the universe will show otherwise.
If we were to put all of this into one big fantasy, Earth would be Midgard, the kingdom of humans in Norse mythology, and the outcome of this whole story could turn out to be the dreaded and tragic Ragnarok, the end of it all. But this is real, unlike any other fictional story, all of this is happening, and it could be that Ragnarok also occurs.
From now on we have two great paths to choose to follow, or we will continue to be the villain of the story and help to destroy the super power of the Earth and later the same or knowledge of all the knowledge we have and our vast capacity to learn and evolve to find a way to deal with this huge problem, because there is still time to be the heroes and turn the situation around. But if we don't become aware of this problem right away and pretend it doesn't exist, maybe the future we so long for for future generations, for our children, grandchildren and so on will not happen, and in its place a chaotic Ragnarok will occur.
Will the human beings who are the villains of this whole story ever manage to be the heroes? Unfortunately I don't have the answer to this question, but I'm sure of one thing, if we stop avoiding all this and act with caution, using our options and knowledge for the good of our planet one day then we will be the heroes. What will be the outcome of this story?

Data from the space agency were extremely important to guide our team in choosing the Climate Change theme, highlighting the Greenhouse Effect and its consequences for life on Earth.
On the websites Climate - Data.gov (https://www.data.gov/climate/) and NASA: Climate Change and Global Warming (https://climate.nasa.gov/), we seek informational data to learn more how to develop our character creation in a concise and coherent way with the proposed challenge.
Hackathon Journey
We believe that participating in the Nasa Space Apps Challenge was stepping out of our comfort zone and thinking outside the box, using the creativity and innovation we had to understand, think and solve such a current and emblematic open-scope problem: Climate Change and its consequences. So, we chose this theme within the SuperpowEARTH challenge, as it was what most interested our team to study and learn, in addition to inspiring us a lot in the creation of Capitão Carbono.
Furthermore, as a team, during the hackathon, we develop and improve our soft skills: perseverance, teamwork, dedication and communication.
Finally, we thank everyone, especially the mentors who advised us whenever possible, and our colleagues through the exchange of experiences that enabled the realization of Space Apps 2021.
