High-Level Project Summary

The superpower that our group devised is based on the idea of how the earth would be if it could behave or function like humans, just as humans have various mechanisms in their bodies to keep themselves safe from toxicity and have the ability to fight many diseases. If Earth possessed all of these human-like abilities, it would be able to protect itself and its inhabitants from a variety of threats. Our project is significant because it is founded on numerous factors such as research, creativity, art, and, most importantly, facts. It also eliminates the current threats that the planet is facing.

Detailed Project Description

Our project Terra is a personified version of the Earth, where she has evolved into achieving great powers while having its existing abilities as well. Terra's superpowers include human-like activities such as respiration and excretion which takes degeneration, degradation and decomposition of wastes to a whole new level.

With these abilities, Terra can eliminate the urgent and most harmful threats that the world is currently facing such as climate change, rise in water levels and pollutions.

Terra's extensive excretion system helps extensively cleaning the accumulation of solid and liquid wastes which then gets transformed to the void evolved.

Respiration helps in the removal of toxins in the atmosphere like greenhouse gases which is the main reason for global warming.

Using these powers we hope to achieve that Terra can help save the world and make it a cleaner, greener and better place to live in.

Hackathon Journey

Nasa's Space Apps allowed us to bring our ideas to life. It has helped us learn to be more responsible, competitive, creative and innovative with our project. This journey has taught us to participate and collaborate with great minds, each bringing their creative ideas.

Our team decided to choose this challenge because we believed that addressing urgent matters like climate change and global warming would help us bring awareness to this increasing threat.

This was a very unique challenge and didn't require any coding or hacking but it did require a lot creativity and knowledge.

Thanks to Nasa's open sources we were able to overcome our setbacks and devised a unique superpower that could help solve the problem of climate change and help us regain complete control over the climate and make our earth greener and cleaner again.

I would like to thank Nasa for giving us this great opportunity and teaching us the importance of participation and collaboration, for allowing us to utilize our talents and skills, for allowing us to advance space exploration through the open sources provided and our university- Ajman University to giving us the opportunity to participate in this global competition. Lastly, I would like to thank all my team members who were the essence of this project and made our vision happen.
