High-Level Project Summary
WHY WE DEVELOPED THIS PROJECT?Our planet actually has insane abilities! Think about it, regenerating itself when it is damaged, purifying itself from the pollution, biogenesis, abiogenesis, magnetic and electromagnetic pull forces and much more! The Earth protects the living beings from dangers but the damage we are making is weakening all the good features and our planet is slowly collapsing.HOW WE SOLVED THE PROBLEM?With this project we will show that if we all cooperate with The Earth, and take good care of it we can strengthen it's powers and create a better place to live. WHY THIS PROJECT IS IMPORTANT?We can change the way others see the world and avoid the destruction our planet.

Detailed Project Description
( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rudbeckia ) Rudbeckia is the name of a flower that blooms if it gets the attention, the nutrients and has other suitable contidions even if it takes a long time and that feature reminded us of our planet which can improve if us people start caring for it and let it manifest it's ''superpowers'' back again. The pollution caused by human activity is preventing Earth's abilities such as regeneration, purification from manifesting. Human activitly like plane flights, driving cars, using perfumes and deodorants, barbeques which pollute the air; cruises (crude oil spilling) , littering, deforestation, strip mining which pollute the land and the ocean cause Global Warming and The Ozone Hole which are the the main reasons for climate change. Extreme disasters like snowstorms, droughts, floods, forest fires, heatwaves, tornados are starting to increase because of the climate changes and this affects all life on land, in the air and in the ocean. Living beings are losing their habitats and are exposed to the harmful ultraviolet (UV) radiations whichthe Ozone Hole was suposed to prevent and every living species are in danger. For example The Ozone Layer which protects the Earth's surface and the living beings strated to slowly breakdown because of the fact that the humankind started to use manifactured chemicals in their daily lives. After observing The Ozone Layer in 2021 ,during pandemic which is the time when the emition of Ozone depleating chemicals like Nitrogen Oxides (NOx), Chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs) and Hydrochlorofluorocarbons (HCFCs) reduced because of the lockdowns and reduction of human activity, we can see that it is strenghtening back again caused by the reduction of human activity during the ongoing pandemic. So some ideas formed in our heads. Eco-friendly acts as simple as recycling, decomposing and learning about The Earth might not make any impact in people's minds but if thought deeply, everyone can realize how amazing the results can be and how fascinating The Earth actually is! With that we wanted to touch people's hearts through illustrating the causes and the results with art. We observed various designs suitable for our project and generated new ideas then connected the informations, our imagination and our observations then produced a simple but sensible design.

Space Agency Data
We used NASA galeries and other various data to support our opinions with scientific facts. It helped us get datas showed usa better look at our purpose and develop new ideas while learning new things and even disproving some of our old ideas. What we learned from these articles are:
- The quantity of Ozone depleting chemicals such as Nitrogen Oxides (NOx), Chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs) and Hydrochlorofluorocarbons (HCFCs) which are used for motor gases, aerosols, refrigeratos and coolants and the causes of The Ozone Hole discovered in 1987 have been increasing. '' Ozone protects us from destructive solar radiation when it’s high above Earth in the stratosphere. Closer to the ground, though, it has other lasting impacts. Ozone at the surface was estimated to cause 365,000 deaths globally in 2019 by damaging the lungs of vulnerable people, such as young children and those with asthma. Similarly, it damages the breathing systems of plants – their ability to photosynthesize – reducing plant growth and crop yields. And at the top of the troposphere, it’s a potent greenhouse gas, increasing global temperatures. (https://www.nasa.gov/feature/jpl/local-lockdowns-brought-fast-global-ozone-reductions-nasa-finds)
- The Ozone Hole, Global Warming and any type of pollution harms all Monera, Protoctista, Fungi, Plantae, and Animalia species; the habitats of all species are decaying, the amount of plants and their ability to pull carbon from the athmosphere are reducing, the climate change brings extreme snow storms, floods, tornados, heatwaves, forest fires, droughts and causes the icebergs to melt.
- The reduction of human activitly like plane flights, driving cars, using perfumes and deodorants, barbeques which pollute the air; cruises (crude oil spilling) , littering, deforestation, strip mining which pollute the land and the ocean has caused the Ozone Layer to recover. '' As the coronavirus pandemic slowed global commerce to a crawl in early 2020, emissions of nitrogen oxides (NOx) – which create ozone, a danger to human health and to climate – decreased 15% globally, with local reductions as high as 50%, according to a study led by scientists at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Southern California. As a result of the lower NOx emissions, by June 2020, global ozone levels had dropped to a level that policymakers thought would take at least 15 years to reach by conventional means, such as regulations. - The water, carbon and energy cycles have been getting out of order which causes natural disasters that affects all living beings in a harmful way and even causes deaths and destructions on The Earth's surface. '' The water, energy and carbon exchanges between the land and the air are linked together through soil moisture. Detailed monitoring of soil moisture provides a view of how our whole Earth system works. The health of Earth’s biosphere is dependent on the flow and storage of water, energy, and carbon. Our global climate and its future changes are dependent on how these major Earth cycles link and vary together. Global change is the major environmental challenge of our century, and its impacts can cause major shifts in how our societies will function in the future. Hackathon Journey
The fact that The Earth can regenerate the damaged parts as time goes and the beginnig of eco-friendly production inspired us to do this project. Advancing further we read various articles and then brainstormed our way into an awareness raising project. However, it was hard to think of ways to illustrate our researches with art. Especially when the value of environment is not sufficent enough but despite that we debated quite a lot, disagreed with each other and disproved each others ideas, generated new ideas together, learned a lot of new things, had fun, laughed a lot, met new people and made friends too! While being scared, getting excited and being messy we actually had alot of fun and we would like to thank our teacher Ayla ÇIÇEK for looking after us despite all the hardships and the confusions we have caused.
