High-Level Project Summary
The challenge is developing a game about space exploration . Astronaut faces health hazards and technical problems during a space exploration. But very few of our middle schoolers have basic knowledge astronomy. We have to awaken their thirst for astronomy as astronomy is at the forefront of science. So to solve this problem, we made a game app, "Voyage to Mars : Can you survive?". It is a gaming app for the 10 -14 year kids so that they can play and increase their knowledge at the same time. In the game, NASA is preparing themselves for a Mars mission. Gamers have to dive into the life of spaceship and solve quizs to keep the crew alive.

Detailed Project Description
Team Cybertron is basically working on a game-developing project. The name of our project is "Voyage to Mars: Can you keep your crew alive?" Our game has a crew of five members. The leading character of the game is an astronaut. And the challenge of the game is to keep the astronaut alive. As our game is an educational one, we have thought to make the game with lots of information collected from NASA's database.
How will the game work?
Our game is mainly a quiz-based game. We have set the questions based on the difficulties and challenges faced in the spaceships. We have also focused on the health hazards faced on the spaceships while setting quizzes. The player has to have the ability of critical thinking and basic knowledge about space and spaceship in order to crack the quizzes. We will be providing some links to NASA's database so that they can get plenty of information to solve the quizzes.
Why the teens?
We believe that today's children, tomorrow's future. Our main target is to initiate interest and love for space, astronomy among these talented, smart kids so that they can bring revolutionary changes in these sectors in the future. And we have set the quizzes as per the real-life challenges that the astronauts face inside of a spaceship. This will give them the thrill of being an astronaut and will encourage them to join NASA in the future. Children are remarkable for their intelligence and ardor, for their curiosity, their intolerance of shams, the clarity and ruthlessness of their vision- Aldous Huxley. Indeed, the teens these days are like living dynamites. They are smart, talented, and whatnot. We definitely won't like to waste these gems. That's why we are coming up with these exciting educational games which of course meet their thirst for excitement. While playing the game, they will use their fresh minds to do critical thinking to solve real-life challenges. This will eventually trigger them to explore more in the future and make the impossible of the universe possible.
Our game is designed in a way that will initiate the inner spirit and love for space and astronomy among the children which may lead them to contribute to this sector. And that's exactly what we want. We want more minds and intelligence in NASA. WE want them to unravel the mysteries We want them to make the impossible possible. We want them to make it to Mars someday.
Let's explore the universe!!

Hackathon Journey
I would describe my space app journey as one of the most amazing things of my life. Working with my mates, learning new things, and innovating a whole app for the first time, how can't be a special one? NASA is always a part of my dream and always will be, so getting the chance to participate in a NASA competition is one of the great experiences happening in my life. While making this app, I had to go through several space articles, astronomy, and space exploration information. So while making this app not only I got the chance to develop my skills in the IT sector, also expanded my mastery of astronomy and astrophysics. The challenge we took is, "Trail to Mars: Can you keep your crew alive?", which is actually a challenge about facing the health hazards while making a voyage to Mars. As we know, while having a space exploration, an astronaut becomes too feeble and sick. And keeping our first steps on the surface of the red planet is still a dream to us. Also on the basis of the research of NASA, when an astronaut will start for Mars, because of the long-distance, he will face several health problems in this uncertain journey. So we wanted to make a game where the children will learn about those problems of space exploration and also about astronomy. Mainly making our future generation interested in astronomy, especially about a voyage to Mars was our whole target and this inspired us to take the challenge. As a team leader, I always used to guide our team in the way they would get fun while working. I used to make a daily plan about our works, breaks, meetings and also divided the duties according to my team member's skills. Sometimes our plan didn't succeed, our design wasn't working and we were being frustrated. At that time, we used to take a break and walked outside the home for a while to have some fresh air. After some time, we used to start with a new spirit. And that's how we succeeded to complete our challenge. For this whole journey, I want to thank NASA for arranging such a beautiful event. Also, I am grateful to my regional mentor and organizers, for whom our challenge could be a success.
