High-Level Project Summary

Our goal was to develop an analogue of pocket Tamagotchi. Where the main character will be the cosmonaut COSMOHOTCHI, who during the game will develop his characteristics: strength, intelligence, dexterity.The game goes through various modules with which the player interacts physically.The main feature that we wanted to achieve was the maximum variety of the game, we managed to achieve this thanks to modularity. During the hackathon, we managed to make a device with a screen and three unique modules, each of which forces the player to make a different effort.

Detailed Project Description

Our project is a motherboard with a 0.96 inch display based on a microcontroller and a set of three plug-in modules. The user is shown information about the character Kosmogochchi, which he can improve by connecting modules. The "force" module consists of a load cell. The "mind " module is a set of buttons and LEDs controlled by the motherboard. The "skill" module is an encoder that controls a missile displayed on the screen to dodge asteroidsstrain gauge

We got acquainted with the requirements of NASA for astronauts... Well, our Cosmohotchiis quite suitable for flight!

Hackathon Journey

We figured out how to implement the "game in hardware", mastered working with different sensors, worked out the gameplay and user interface.
