Longlive Forever

High-Level Project Summary

This project is the develop a video game called Longlive forever, the audience is 10-14 years for educational purposes. The game demonstrating the health impact to the astronauts when they go to Mars (mainly including Radiation, Isolation and confinement, Distance from Earth, Gravity, Hostile/closed environments) and solutions to mitigate the impact. The player has choices of the Mars stay duration: 1 year, 3 years, and 10 years. The mission will only succeed when all the crew returns back to earth alive and healthy. This game is great to give younger people an overview of space travel and the health impact and gain their interest of future work on reduce body damage during space travel.

Hackathon Journey

We learned that the risk to travel to space, and there is the potential to reduce and minimize the damage to the human body. Should continue working on this area to achieve the goal that one day everyone can travel to space without any concern.
