High-Level Project Summary
The proposal is an augmented reality (AR) multiplayer video game (free access) combined with software and healthcare tools to create interaction with the real world, oriented to learning, health and physical activity in high school students. The purpose of the game is to make first contact with another living extraterrestrial being while learning to keep your avatar alive and healthy, doing real research, and working as a team with young people from other countries. This game is focused on teaching and monitoring the health of players, trying to avoid the health problems caused by the excessive use of video games.

Detailed Project Description
The proposal is an augmented reality (AR) multiplayer video game (free access) combined with software and healthcare tools to create interaction with the real world, oriented to learning, health and physical activity in high school students. The purpose of the game is to make first contact with another living extraterrestrial being while learning to keep your avatar alive and healthy, doing real research, and working as a team with young people from other countries. This game is focused on teaching and monitoring the health of players, trying to avoid the health problems caused by the excessive use of video games.

What we’re developing is an augmented reality multiplayer video game combined with software and healthcare tools that create interaction with the real world, oriented to learning, health and physical activity in high school students.
The story of the game runs from the recruitment of astronauts to the first contact with extraterrestrial life:
Log: May 27, 2024, it’s 12:59 a.m. and it’s been a little over 3 years
Listen to me, you’re like me, life, that moment in the universe.
Three years ago the Big Ear radio telescope received a signal from the constellation of Orion, this signal reached an intensity 300 times higher than the usual signals and lasted 10 seconds, this event was called Orion, beyond time and space. Life, it was an intelligent life. What was the probability that there was someone out there? Someone who could understand us.
- This is an invitation to be an astronaut of the crew that will have a journey to make the first contact with non-human species. We will choose those who succeed in completing the analogous mission. From a total of 10 thousand applicants we will choose the 6 best profiles to make the first interstellar contact. Best of luck!

1.- You have to create a health profile, the avatar will have the same health as the player in real life.
2.- Create your avatar.
3.- Select the type of profile: Biology, Art, Chemistry, Medicine, Engineering, Physics etc. You have to determine what type of mission will be and what crew will assign you.
Then the 5 levels of the game (analogous mission for astronaut training, take off to the ISS, stay on the international space station, travel to the constellation of Orion, arrive on the planet where the interstellar contact will take place), is invited to solve real research carried out by space agencies, based on the help of continuous learning, since they will be able to access videos, research and articles from space agencies from the video game , and being multiplayer will offer interaction with people with different abilities to solve engineering challenges, science and artistic activities that will allow the creativity and ingenuity of children to take off. While their health is monitored through software specialized in exercise, nutrition, sleep, oral hygiene, psychology, aspects that will be analyzed both of the avatar and the player in real life, the video game will give you recommendations to establish health aspects that have been modified,
This technology was developed based on the comparative scenarios between the current quarantine by covid 19 and the isolation suffered by astronauts on the space station, the goal is to recreate the lives of astronauts in the video game, help learn about aspects of aerospace medicine and restore the player’s health.

An example: The game will tell you how many and which exercises the astronauts carry out, and invite the player to perform similar exercises to unlock another challenge, this will be measured with the pedometer that already have integrated cell phones, The gyroscope will also be used to simulate the human centrifuge, as well as other tools for the simulation of astronaut activities, based on NASA’s children’s astronaut training guide.
We think it’s important because it’s an approach to scientific research and the dissemination of topics in aerospace medicine and engineering. Relying on NASA’s astronaut training guide opens a window of knowledge for children who are interested in becoming astronauts. In addition, the game not only teaches, but monitors the health of players, trying to avoid the health problems caused by the excessive use of video games.
We hope that our video game is an approach to science and scientific research, a support in teaching and that serves as inspiration, in addition one of the main objectives is to avoid the health problems generated by the excessive use of video games, similar aspects suffered by astronauts in the space environment.

Unity, Blender, ArCore, C# language and 3D models awarded by NASA, Miro, Discord.

Hackathon Journey
The video game was inspired by the life we are currently in quarantine and the scenario similar to the one that the astronauts of the international space station carry in their day to day, with the aim of providing the means to involve children and young people in the space sector, eliminating language barriers and technological backwardness.
Our project is oriented to learning and health in high school students, trying to be an approach to science but avoiding the health problems generated by the excessive use of video games.
Being a multidisciplinary team, each one could contribute from their area of knowledge and look with different perspectives on how to give the solution to the same challenge. Thanks to this, our project covers knowledge of the areas of health, engineering and programming. Based on the solutions proposed, an asynchronous work was carried out that allowed to advance the maximum in the project and after it, checkpoints were stipulated during the day where all the team met to evaluate the progress and feedback.
